I just reloaded on the forums and didn't see an actual record of anything we just said happening twice.

Yes, that's the bug I mean. If it didn't show up twice on the forums, that means only one record of it was created. But the chat is a little stupid about checking to see if it's already displayed a post and gets it wrong sometimes.
