Corrine smiled to herself as she studied the drawing. She gently folded it and slid it into her bag. She looked around, trying to figure out who had thrown it, but there were multiple students drawing, so it could have been anyone.

She realized the captain had ordered everyone off, and she made her way through the crowd and off of the boat, keeping her bag close to her. She walked across the dock and to the cart, letting herself up. She took a seat near the back. She would’ve preferred one of the corners but both were already taken. She shrugged to herself, she’d deal with it.

Cas stood to her feet and stretched, before grabbing her backpack and slinging it over her shoulders. She stepped onto the dock and inspected the vehicle from a distance.

"Who do these plebs think we are?" Cas muttered under her breath, looking at the vehicle. It was far from glamorous, not to mention it smelled vile.

But how else was she to get where she wanted? With that thought, she crawled into the vehicle, sitting next to Jas.

"So dearie, how did you end up on Neverland Island?" She flaunted her hair.

Jas glanced over at the individual who had spoken to him. It was the one who had tried to cheer everyone up with the whole pirate getup. He registered the question in his head looking down, "Parents... Sent me here. To... protect me." Jas fell silent once more, tucking his knees closer to him. This stranger gave off some mixed signals to him, being both a somewhat charismatic fellow, but also seeming like a trickster of sorts. He wasn't sure it this was someone he would want to actually get to know, but here he was, having a conversation with them.

"Well, I came here on my own. I didn't know this place would be so drab, however. It's bloody miserable."

Cas tugged on her coat, looking across the landscape.

"I'm Cas, by the way. Most call me Cassius. You know, the man who killed Ceasar." She laughed.

Corrine listened to the conversations around her, bouncing her knee up and down. She didn’t enjoy being in the carriage surrounded by so many people, but she was kind of excited to start at this new school.

Mei walks into the carriage sort of thing, sitting near the back as she listens to the others talk, not wanting to intrude on their conversations. She had her hair short, it barely reaching her shoulders. She nervously pulled a few strands behind her ear. She was excited but also dreading the new school, having to leave most everyone she knew to go here.

Mei looked over the edge of the carriage, smiling as she caught sight of the school in the distance.

Jas gave a polite nod at the stranger giving her name, he got the joke, but didn't laugh at it. "Jason, but just call me Jas." He replied quietly. He pulled out the notebook he had on the boat and tapped the pencil he had on his chin as he decided what to draw.

He eventually settled on a mountain, with a light snowfall covering the ground. He drew a set of footprints and paw prints in the snowfall. He drew a stag on the mountain, a man with a camera poised below, taking a near perfect photo. The drawing nearly appeared like a photo itself as Jas drew the finer details with the snow and shading. He had always been a proud artist, primarily drawing nature and signing his art somewhere within the drawing, but having it subtle as to not take away from the sketches. Drawing was his own little escape from reality, and he wished he could just jump into his drawings and be whisked away.

Corrine noticed the school in the distance and grew even more impatient. She was tired from all the traveling, and wanted to eat and explore the school.

She looked around, noticing the same boy from earlier had taken out his sketchbook again. She tilted her head, He really does like to draw.

As the carriage approached the school, the students could see how huge it was - thick, stone walls with large windows on the sides, and tall, looming black gates surrounding the structure. The gates began to open with a squeaky screech, and in went the students.
It stopped. "Off, off!" Called the driver, and motioned with his hands to shoo. By the doors was a rather tall woman wearing a formal looking dress, and a large ring on her thin finger.
They followed her into the building, "Everyone gather in the main hall." She said in a crisp voice.

Corrine waited for the students at the front of the carriage to climb down before standing up and making her own way down. She held her bag close to her and stood on the stone for a moment, staring up at the massive school.

She took a deep breath and followed the other students into the school, and into what she assumed was the main hall. She stood near the back of the crowd, studying the inside of the school.

Jas clamored out of the carriage once the driver called for them to get out. He was holding his notebook close against his chest as he slowly made his way over towards the school.

Once inside he paused to take a look at the interior. He quickly glanced back to see the crowd moving forward without him. He clutched his notebook closer as he jogged to catch up, nearly tripping in the process. He gathered himself once more as he struggled to see over the crowd from the back.

Mei follows the crowd, smiling as she watched the school come into view. She walked in the gates, hawking at the massive size. She listened to the woman talk intently, taking note to head to the mess hall once they were allowed inside.

Mei clutched her bag in her hands, starting to get nervous for the first day of school.

Cas, unlike everyone else it seemed, never stopped to stare at the architecture. Stuff like this was typical for her. Her parents were always gallivanting off to another damn European country for another vacation, another meeting, another film shoot. All she could think of was where to find the theater, and how she was gonna start to act normal.

Eventually, everyone arrived in the hall. There were plenty of open seats, and the students began to take their own.
Each student was given an envelope, and the head mistress explained that each one contained information about where each of their rooms were located, and maps of the massive building.

Cas messily tore open the envelope, messing up the letter itself a small bit before opening the paper and reading it's contents.

Jas took a seat at the table, gently setting his sketchbook down as he got his envelope. He tore it open, taking a look at the map first, then the room location. He hoped to have a room to himself, or at the very least one with a better view of the island. He didn't want to feel stuck on this island, despite him actually knowing that he was stuck here for at the very least a year, more than likely more than that.

Corrine took a seat, and began to gently open the envelope. She was careful not to tear the contents inside, and removed the papers.
She read over them, trying her best to memorize the map and where her room was located. She wouldn’t mind having a roommate, but did prefer to room alone. She never had to share things like her room before, being an only child and such.

(Since it'd probably make sense for most of the characters to be roommates with one another, do we get to choose who we get paired up with or no?)
