Twilightpelt followed his leader into the clearing, keeping a close on Sorbetkit while doing so. He looked up at the three others leaders before making his way to the edge of the clearing where the other medicine cats sat. "Hello Petalfall, Frostpaw, and Footpebble." The medicine cat dipped his head in respect to the two she-cats and tom.

Nightrush nodded as they made their way down into the clearing. Many cats sat around. The elder warrior yawned as she looked around for Brackenfang, an elder from another clan that she frequently talked with at Gatherings. Once she spotted his fluffy pelt she made her way over to him, lifting her tail in greeting.

Maycloud sat down, flicking her tail excitedly.

Sorbetkit saw others staring at him. He looked up at Twilightpelt and leaned against the tall Tom, then slid down to a sit.

The tall male leader of quakeclan, Bolderstar, spoke first,
. “I have made a apprentice, Appleshadow, into a warrior, and Larktail has had 3 kittens.”

And then the next leader spoke, a female, Ravenstar. She was the leader of Deepclan. She had nothing to say but that the snow was starting to fall and prey is getting harder to find.

Then Thornstar spoke, “We have found a rouge kit and a young kittypet. They will both stay in our clan until further notice.”

And then the next leader spoke, Crackedstar. He spoke of The sent of two rouges in his territory. And the leaders talked quietly among themselves.

Twilightpelt stroked Sorbetkit's flank with his tail as he listened to the leaders. He quietly told the young kit each leader by name and their clans.

And so the gathering ended and they started to head back home.

Nightrush walked beside Maycloud on the way back from the Gathering.

Sorbetkit was the first awake, and stumbled towards the front of the medicine den to see the ground covered in white flakes. “Wow!” He gasped, his eyes wide.

Sorbetkit dashed back into the den to wake Twilightpelt. “Look! Look! Snow! Snow!” He bounced,

Last night was foggy, all she remembered after the gathering was that Falconwing asked her to be his mate, and she accepted. Maycloud opened her green eyes and looked around. Falconwing was sleeping besides her. She sighed.

Twilightpelt jolted awake at the feeling of small paws and a squeaky voice echoing in his den. Turning around with tired eyes he found Sorbetkit standing above him, happy and excited as can be. "What is it...?"

“It’s snowing!!!” Sorbetkit mewed excitedly. He was eager to wake Twilightpelt and goof around in the snow, but only if the medicine cat had time, of course.

"Snowing?" , the silver and black tom rised to his paws and padded out of his den to see snow falling from the sky. "Indeed it is snowing."

He followed the tall tabby cat out into the cold, open air. The kit shivered as a snowflake landed on his nose. A thin layer of snow had already set in over the grass and fallen leaves. Now, it was leafbare and prey was scarce and plants were mostly dormant. “It’s sooo cold-“ The kit shivered, pushing his side to the medicine cat’s to stay a bit warmer, as he purred in delight.

Twilightpelt purred back at the kit's excitement and couldn't help but feel somewhat excited as well. The tom swished his tail into the thin snow on the ground, pushing some of it as it cooled his tail.

The kit made a small pile of snow and buried himself in it. “You can’t see me~” He taunted.

Twilightpelt held a on amused look on his face as he slowly crept his way over to the kit. "Where oh where has Sorbetkit gone...?"

Then the kit sprung out of the snow and pounced on Twilightpelt. “Rawr!”
