Isobel heard Rae move forward, always the first to make an aggressive move. A part of her felt a little like deja vu, remembering when she and Rae had fought with Hunter. That just brought a wave of emotions she didn't want to feel though so she pushed it back down and tensed. The fae was quiet, making it a lot harder for her to hear and place where he was. Her brows drew together in concentration as she dropped down to the ground in front of him. She'd have to listen hard if she was going to be able to fight him as she normally would.
Jennine felt like she would pee her pants when the wolf jumped towards Pieridae. Instincts took over with him in danger though and she took aim at the wolf's shoulder and let fly. She watched out of the corner of her eye as Pier jumped down to the ground, followed shortly by the girl with wings. She was holding her staff defensively, waiting for his next move.
Rae snarled and the girls arrow shot into her shoulder. The blade hurt with an unbearable pain and she howled in a pain. Blood trickled down her shoulder and she staggered around. She had hit the ground after being shot by the human. Now her emerald eyes directed towards the girl, anger boiling inside of her. In a quick movement she reached back and slowly pulled the arrow out. Once the arrow was out even more blood trickled down her shoulder and onto her flank. Now that there was no arrow in her shoulder she knew what to do. She took off and leaped into the air. She went to slam her body down onto the girl. A werewolves bite was very dangerous and gets infected very easily.
As much as Jennine wanted to help, Pieridae could not risk her getting hurt. His wings beat and he zipped over to where she was. Then the werewolf lunged and he had only once chance. He threw all of his force into the wolf, dropping his bow as he did so. He rolled as he fell, springing up almost immediately afterwards. What he drew as a weapon was a single arrow. Unlike his others, however, this one had a dull black color for the tip. To anyone who had seen that type before, they would recognize it almost immediately. The fae held it like you would a dagger, ready to stab the werewolf as he positioned himself between Jennine and the wolf.
Jennine was terrified when the wolf jumped on top of her. It had been so close she could smell the musty scent of the forest on its fur. No sooner was it on her than Pieridae had knocked it off though. She shakily got up to her feet and retrieved her bow, not that she could use it at the moment for fear of hitting Pier instead of the wolf girl.
It turned out, Isobel didn't have to fight the fae after all. Not yet anyways. She heard the arrow hit Rae. A stab of worry went through her but it quickly went away as she heard Rae lunge for the one who had shot her. It would take more than just an arrow to bring her down. Immediately, the fae left to help his companion, dropping his bow in the process. Suddenly, Isobel felt tired of fighting. She ran over to where the man and Rae were before they got too far apart and reached for both their shoulders. She would send calming thoughts and heal Rae's shoulder. "Please," She said with a weary voice. "All I wanted to do today was find a friend and reconnect with her. Not bloodshed."
Rae growled at the man and turned into a human. Her strawberry blonde hair fell at her shoulders and her emerald eyes stared at him. There was no inch in her body that didn't want to kill the fae. A warm feeling ran through her body as Isobel placed her hand on her shoulder. The feeling of her wounds closing and calming thoughts rushed through her. Then it all snapped. Her inner wolf came out and the calming thoughts went away and she slapped Isobel's hand away. " Get away from me. I'm no longer anyone's friend. " Rae turned and began to walk away, the calming thoughts and healing leaving her.
"This will kill you, werewolf," Pier said, meaning the arrow. "That is what it is made to do." Pieridae was speaking now more than he usually does, it seemed the time for it. His cold, slightly unsettling voice was no friendlier, however. "Rare metal, holy water, blessed, silver," the Fae listed, naming ingredients familiar to the werewolf and her 'friend'.
"Do not bother us again," he told the werewolf when she turned to leave.
"Do not bother us again," he told the werewolf when she turned to leave.
Rae laughed under her breathe, more out of annoyance. " I know what an arrow is. " She stopped and looked over her shoulder, her emerald eyes staring into his. " Everything's different when you get tested on. " The girl's eyes shifted now towards the other girl, giving her a warning with her eyes. If the two were to meet again, Rae would try and kill her. Now the fae was annoying, telling her to never come back. This was where she lived for six months, they had no right. " You wish I wouldn't. "
"Then you know where I got it from," he said simply. "Leave with the demon and peace is accepted." Pieridae meant Isobel of course, but he had no actual idea what she was. He did not leave his ready position, not trusting the wolf-girl the slightest bit.
He turned to Jennine, "We're heading out."
He turned to Jennine, "We're heading out."
Isobel withdrew her hands and listened to the man talk with Rae. At least they were talking now and not fighting. When he listed just what was on his weapon, she tilted her head. The holy water and silver wouldn't really do anything to her, but getting stabbed still hurt. She frowned when she realized that when the man said 'demon' he was referring to her. "Don't worry, this 'demon' plans on leaving soon."
Jennine nodded her head, not trusting herself to speak. Her wide blue eyes didn't leave the wolf girl. Like Pieridae, she didn't trust her. She moved to Pier's side, glad that the fighting was over.
Rae let a growl slip from her mouth directed towards the girl. " You better protect her cause one day I'll find her. " Her emerald eyes stared back at her and a grin appeared on her face. " Nice business 'fairy'. " Rae now looked at Isobel and growled and walked away from the group.
((That... Went well. What now?))
The fae nodded before collecting his gear and then backing away into the forest, refusing to let his guard down. The dull black arrow remained in his hand as his other arrows flashed with the light of the sun. It would be best for them to pack up an move out.

Jennine followed close behind Pier, watching the wolf girl leave. Her words had frightened her. What had she ever done wrong to the girl? She shivered even in the warmth of the sun and hoped to never cross paths with the wolf again.
((No idea
))
Isobel sighed to herself as the others left or prepared to leave. Her wings rustled behind her, stretching in eagerness for flight. She wasn't quite sure what she hoped to gain by finding Rae--maybe closure--but she only felt more confused and hurt than ever. Rae had said that she was no one's friend, but she was once her friend and Hunter's friend. Isobel shook her head and raised up into the air.

Rae turned sharply and grabbed Isobel's foot. She had a great amount of power since the last time they met. It coursed through her veins faster when she got emotional. " Your not leaving me just yet hybrid. " She tugged her to the ground and pulled her along.
Rae pulled her along for a while and stumbled along a rock. She looked up and noticed where she was. It was the grave yard where Hunter was buried. Tears surfaced in her eyes and she let go of Isobel. Hunter's grave stuck out like a sore thumb to her, reminding her of all the memories. Rae had turned off all of her emotions or at least tried to. " We use to be a group.... A group that nearly killed each other and was horrible. " She muttered underneath her breathe.

Isobel had to fight the urge to kick Rae's hand away when she suddenly grabbed her ankle. She wasn't really sure where she was leading her at first, and stayed on her guard. As they continued walking though, she realized where they were headed.
When Rae stopped, she stopped as well, arms wrapped around herself. Isobel thought she could still smell the scent of flowers, some stale while others fresh. She made a mental note to grab some flowers for Hunter and Marc before the day was over. A small smile crossed her face at Rae's words. "We were like a little family; every family has its problems." She sighed. "But in the end, we'd do anything to keep one another safe..."

((I think Jennine n Pieridae are out for now. You two run along and get into some serious trouble!))
[ That will be easy for us.

Rae walked closer to the grave and sat down. " Do you understand what it feels like to know, someone you loved died? Died because of myself? It burns in me everyday, making me run farther away, and makes me kill. I've taken so many peoples lives in the last 6 months... I'm a murder. " She spoke softly and the tears were no longer in her eyes. Her voice was tenser now and she stood up. " But now that I see his grave again, it reminds me of how much I hated all of you guys. " This was how Rae turned her emotions off.
