"Since when?! I merely fund the team, or what's left of it at least."

She gratefully takes the baked potato and eats it without hesitation. The potato tasted fantastic to her. "Thank you, Mathius," she said as she looked up at him like a fatherly figure.

"How would you not know?"

"I was never under the impression I was ever the team leader. Nor did I think that anyone was desperate enough to trust someone like me to lead the Avengers."

"Desperate times call for Desperate measures, You could say..."
