On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

Not sure how to start this Kudo, but I'll suffice to say that Cross and I were not always on the best of terms. But in the last 5-7 years, that's changed. When I needed support, Cross reached out. When I was feeling down, Cross reached out. When I needed to know someone cared and related, Cross reached out. I cannot tell you how happy I am that my mind has been completely changed on him. A fellow old-timer, and a person I will always see as a friend. He's come a long ways in the time I was on hiatus, and he welcomed me back as though I'd never left. Jacob Cross is the type of man you read about in fairy tales: A bronze, meticulously detailed statue that was given the gift of life. Cross may seem like a little intimidating, but he's really a big softie. His humor is hilarious, his ideas are always on point, and he's never a dull person to be around. Cross is a man I have not known for long, but in getting to know him, he has changed my life. I used to be intimidated by him, a powerful writer with a strong, unshakable character that commands attention and dominates the room. Playing with him and getting to now him as a person helped bring me out of my wallflower shyness and bring me into a whole new world as I grew more confident not in my own writing, but in approaching others that once used to intimidate me. Jacob is the type of character that can seem incredibly one dimensional and first glance. He is stern, stoic, calculating and cunning; but that isn't all there is to him! It's the smaller nuances that really draw me in to every interaction with Jacob. Jacob wasn't what I expected. At first glance he appears to be just a dry stick in the mud, but it soon becomes obvious there are many layers to Guard Cross. There's the guard, the husband, the friend- his charm is subtle, but once you see it it's hard not to want to interact with him. Jacob has a presence that just adds to a scene. He is a well written and thought out character, and frankly just fun to play with. - Goblin

Where would one start when trying to describe the many reasons why others should roleplay or interact with Jacob Cross? The player behind the character is a wonderfully sharp, creative, and imaginative person. They are always kind, helpful, and happy to talk. The character itself portrays the image of a stern guard of the island nicely, while offering the kind heart of someone that sees beyond the boundaries of station in society. If you aren't rping with Jacob, you are missing out. -

I've interacted with the renowned Jacob Cross for a number of years while taking residence in TGT. But its only been recent that I've actually been honored to take a closer look into this powerful, stern, well-crafted lion. Ah. I miss this lion!! One of a kind, perfectly displayed as a anthro. Intelligent design that really has you on the edge of your seat wondering what is gonna happen. I have zero doubt Acaeus and him would have been good friends. But it doesn't matter, I adore this character, and I adore how it is played. Jacob Cross is a staple of TGT. The character has been built upon and expanded so thoughtfully over the years, you truly get a sense that you've watched him grow. His player is more than a writer, he's a story-teller, in the truest sense of the title, and creates some of the most engaging, descriptive and totally fangirl-worthy scenes, you'll wonder why you didn't write with him sooner.
