From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

Atheist here is an all-around solid dude, and I really like the dynamic he has with a few of my characters. Example: Wilson P. Highsbury is a scientist and he and Dr. Todd Swordson have a mutual respect even though Dr. Swordson is Catholic. Ah, where do I start? There are many things about Athiest that are just amazing, but I believe his writing ability along with his kindness are just a couple of the best. He respects his RP partner and he also respects himself, never rushing me to respond even if it takes me a while. Patient, creative, talented, kind and understanding are just five things I can name him off the top of the head. However, I know he is deserving of many more great titles. There's so much to say about Dirk- but the most concise way to put pen to paper on my thoughts is to say that he's truly a wonderful writer and so much fun to be around. His characters are always presented like a centerpiece and written like they belong in proper literature, and he's an absolute joy to write with and talk to. Not often do I get to, in his own words, gab over a mutual interest in Sherlock Holmes! I enjoyed talking with Atheist and we didn't have issues with one another's preferences with the topic. One of the one's who welcomed me back as I return to RPR, and he caught my attention with a Holmes gif. Looking forward to another talk sometime with Atheist. Dirk is my writing idol. He scribes with such excellence that it inspires something primeval in me tbh. His characters have such vividness, like they'd walk right off the page. From their intricate backstories to the minute details of their lives, he's perfected the art of roleplaying in all its magnificence, and I can only aspire to reach his level. While I haven't had the occasion to roleplay with Atheist outside of forum games, even *those* occasional interactions between our characters were gold, but what's absolutely amazing is the incredible job he does bringing fandom characters to life in such an IC and believable manner. I'm always a tad shy when it comes to Kudos, but Atheist deserves every single bit of positive acknowledgement! I haven't RPed with them as of yet, but I would be honoured to get the chance to. Their writing style is stunningly beautiful, flows so well and floors me every single time. I love to read the interactions that their characters have had towards my own, even in forum games, and their kindness always makes my day when they reach out! Huge props to Atheist - they're a core part of RPR!

Atheist's intimate knowledge of his characters is impressive, even though we have mainly chatted on the forums I admire his proficiency.

Atheist is a delight to speak with both IC and OOC. Though I only had the pleasure of RPing with his amazingly detailed cannon characters through the games forum, I hope to interact a bit more in the future. His interpretation of James Moriarty, Greg Lestrade and Sherlock Holmes, to name a few, are masterfully done and with a touch all his own. Definitely interact with him and his characters when you have the chance!
