From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

MY BESTIE, OK? This is an echo of what Cacophony wrote for me a couple of years ago. So far in my life there has been nobody else who I could even imagine traveling to another country to visit. Sometimes it seems unfair that one of my best friends lives so far away. But, over time we've grown close so naturally. He's amazing and talented, and I'm so thankful to know him. I love you so much! I adore Cacophony so deeply! Every year I get to write him new kudos, and every year I am filled with deep warmth and affection for him because being his friend just makes you feel that way.
He endlessly kind and patient, and I have immense respect for his love for teaching. I regularly see how proud he is of his students, he is so invested in helping them be the best they can be, and I promise being his friend is just like that! You won't regret being his friend.

Cacophony is literally one of my top five favorite people on the planet, which is saying something of someone you've only met in person once. He's a wonderful writer with a seemingly endless cast of characters. What I love the most about his characters is their human shortcomings. They're fascinating! Thoughtful exploration goes into each one, whether he believes that or not. I'm really grateful to know him. Thanks for existing, friend.

A great knitter dude who's always a pleasure to see around! Something that recently stands out is Cacophony's work to help folks who can't afford art get a visual representation of their characters. He runs this own thread where he offers up various adopts, and he also offered up a couple for a raffle to help folks get art. Cacophony's perseverance in life is nothing short from admirable. Regardless of what's been put in his path, he manages to overcome it or find alternative solutions to the problem at hand. Besides our mutual love for crafting, I adore that we can spend months away from each other and pick right back up where we left as if no time passed at all.
