And I bet hardly worth a second look! But I been scoping out RPR and exploring the features, the people, and what this platform can offer me.

While It is intimidating that it seems like a community that leans towards original characters with commish'd art, I fear that I will fall short in that case. I have no funds to comish art for my own oc's and with the ocs I do have, their faceclaims are of canon characters or some art I am borrowing/find... God, I know im horrible! Hah

That aside, I am looking at it as an opportunity and a challenge to write decent physical descriptions for my oc's so maybe at some point, when I can afford it, will have their own custom art that isn't some face claim from an anime.

Either way, Im looking to making this place a second home for myself and a few of my characters and this post is but a step in that direction.
Hi!!

It is COMPLETELY fine to not have art for your OCs. Using faceclaims is actually a very smart method I never thought of.. other ideas to show what your oc would look like is look up and out together outfits for them, do voiceclaims, find their hairstyle, and find their aesthetic!!

I'm not the best at art either, I've only been drawing for six months, but if it's your OCs, you have the right to draw them however you can and no one should be allowed to say if something is wrong, accept for you. The designer. Only you know what is right an wrong for your creations.

If you're interested in doing an rp, I'd love too, even if you don't have "complete" OCs! Check out my profile and characters, if you'd like. If you would like to rp, or if you just want more oc advice, dm me!!

Good luck and have fun! : D
Welcome! Don't feel inadequate; everyone's journeys are unique!

Hey, welcome to the site ^.^ I hope you enjoy your time here!
Hello! Welcome to RP Repository! :)
Hoping you can settle in and enjoy!
Welcome to RPR :)
Welcome to RPR, RustyRaddish! :3

A character is a character, whether it be yours or another's (with permission), and its not minded whether your character has a face of your making or another's, as long as you credit the original art creator, especially when considered as a temporary placeholder and/or reference.
However, if you do wish for a kick starter sketch or design for any of your characters, feel free to send me a direct message, as I'm always looking for an excuse to draw and help others! ^w^

Otherwise, wish you a fantastic start in the repository and hope you find just what you're looking for! :3

Hi, rusty Raddish

Welcome to RPR!!

And it is the right step in the right direction!!
Don't you bother about commissioned Art or not, as long as you do not illegally use another one's art for yourself publicly. Else, downloading a free pic to use it for yourself is no offense, when needed you can credit the author.
Feel free to ask whatever needed.

Enjoy your new home

Welcome to RPR!!!
Welcome to RPR!

Don’t be intimidated. You do you!

Some people use Pinterest. Some draw their own. Some commission the art.

I use Stable Diffusion for most of my character creations. People who don’t know better think it is a simple AI application, but it is way more involved than that. I literally had to purchase a desktop because it will not run 🏃‍♀️ on a laptop. I’m proud of the images of my characters because of the amount of time and effort I’ve put into their creation. It is graphic art.

Anyway, be your unique self!
Hello, Raddish! Don't worry about art or face claims, it can and does vary person by person. I can take or leave them, personally. Hope you have fun getting your characters set up!
Welcome to RPR! :)
Welcome! Don't worry about not being able to commission art from someone! Pinterest and Google are excellent ways of finding art! I also use AI to generate images (and that is the only thing I use it for. There is absolutely no shame in using whatever is at your disposal for creating/getting images for your characters!
