Fiona, a founding member, multi-instrumentalist, and singer of the medieval rock band Faun has announced her retirement. I have followed Faun for a number of years with a number of lead women singers/hurdy gurdy players, and it was a hard swallow when Elisabeth left in 2007, but I adapted, especially liking Katja. I can't see the band as 'Faun' without Fiona...

I completely missed when Keane released their new album back in September. Pretty good comeback album after 4 years of hiatus (and like 7 years between album releases).

I don't listen to much pop, given my preference is rock/metal (with a bit of trance/techno/electronica every now and then), but I've always enjoyed Keane.



I also found this recent recording of one of Keane's most famous songs... so posting it here as a bonus
