Edit 21 November 2019 - Re-watching the 'Das Boot' TV series. No it doesn't even pretend to be the great namesake movie, but serves as a sequel since the movie ended in December 1941. This TV series is based in mid-1942 and also uses Lothar-Günther Buchheim's sequel book Die Festung as its inspiration. Quite enjoyable!
