Hunter was now nearing the hospital again. He didn't look back but guessed Isobel wasn't too far back. His hands were clutched at his sides, not over his stomache like before. This revealed just how much blood he was starting to loose because of the chase. His hands glistened red and his bandages were soaked. A nurse ran out to help him, then another. He was going to have to endure a bit of pain for chasing after that girl. He paused at the door, not going it yet. He waited for Isobel, turning around and watching her.

Isobel was limping now, though she tried to hide it as best as she could. She reached the hospital about a minute after Hunter did. A nurse came out to help her and she hesitated before letting the nurse support her. She still wasn't altogether used to having other people to help her when she was hurt. As for Hunter, if he chose to reveal himself waiting in the doorway, Isobel would thank him for waiting up before entering.

Rae slept for a little while then she woke up. Her eyes flickered open, showing her emerald eyes. She rubbed her eyes and stood up. She brushed the small amount of dirt off her shirt. She sighed, then walked around the hospital. She had no idea of where she was going. She saw Hunter and Isobel, but she stayed silently.

The Supernatural Custodian waited for Isobel to pass before filing in. The blood still shone on his hand, even it could be seen behind him. When he entered he looked at Isobel, "They'll attend to your leg. Honestly, if you just relax you will be fine. This a different kind of hospital. It's meant mostly to treat people like me. The staff is on our side." He smiled and turned down to corner to a room. He was about to go get fixed up.

Rae walked towards the front. Her stride was long and she ignored everything. She opened the door, she could easily smell Isobel and Hunter. Plus there was blood on the handle. She walked down the hall, ignoring the nurses. They knew she had been there before. She followed the scent of Hunter, only then she caught a glimpse of him. " Hunter.. " She whispered.

Isobel nodded at Hunter. "Thanks, for everything." She went off to her own room, letting the doctor fix up her leg and scold her for being so foolish as to walk around on it so soon. Is this what it's like whenever a parent puts a bandaid on a little skinned knee? She thought before falling asleep on her side.

Hunter walked into another room, not showing any of the pain he felt as he did so upright. The male nurse still walked next to him in case he needed help. They entered and closed the door, he never heard the whisper. Shades were drawn and the door didn't open except to let more nurses in.

Rae sat in the hallway, ignoring the nurses rushing back and forth. Her emerald eyes stared blankly into space. Her eyelids began to feel heavy, but she tried to stay awake. She had not eaten in days or slept in a couple. She didn't care about not eating, she had done it before. But not sleeping was effecting her, making her have visions and such.

Isobel slept soundly in her room, unaware of Rae sitting outside in the hall. It would probably take a lot of noise and/or a rough shaking to wake her up at this point. The room was quiet and it was left to be seen if she would be able to wake up before Rae left, if she left again.

Inside Hunter's room a quick procedure was done. It lasted about an hour and the last of the shrapnel was removed and he was patched up. He would be good again after some more days in the hospital. After they left, he remained unconsious.

Rae Snuck into Hunters room when the nurses left. She wked quietly, looking at him. She felt a sharp pain of guilt, his cuts would be fine if she hadn't ran. Rae walked towards the side of his bed. " Hunter, I'm sorry. I was a stupid werewolf. Hell, I was probably the worse cupcake. I'm gonna probably leave when you wake up. You wont know what I'm saying. Thank you Hunter for everything you have done for me. Thank you for taking gun bullets for me, hits, and killing others. Thank you. " She leaned forward, kissing his forehead lightly. She turned, walking towards the door.

Hunter caught her hand as she turned. He coughed a second before speaking. "You are a cupcake with an unknown flavor aren't you?" He smiled, still drowsy from the medicine.

Rae growled and turned around quick. She thought a nurse had grabbed her. Once she saw Hunter she settled down. " Oh, it's just you. " She smiled slightly, but tried not to show it. " I am a cupcake who has no true flavor. I can be sweet, sour, bitter, and all these other flavors. " She looked at his hand, " Did you hear what I said? "

A half smile crossed Hunter's face. "You are also a very loud cupcake." He figured that would answer the question enough. He sat up slowly, still wearing the t-shirt and sweat pants. He refused to wear the hospital gounds.

Rae blushed slightly, but tried her best to his her it. " Out of all these patients, your probably the one who dresses differently. " She looked at him, slowly trying to move his hand away. " You understand why I ran, right? "

Hunter realized he was still holding onto her hand and let go. "I hate the gowns. I put it in my report that I don't care what I'm I the hospital for, I will not wear a gown." Then he answered the other question. "Nope." It was a short answer but he didn't really know what to say.

Rae sat on the side of the bed. She looked at him, running her hand through her hair. " Well, I kinda said it in the forest. I was sent to a hospital and they began to test on me. It was horrible. They stabbed needles into my arms. After the first round of testing I got restless. I always guessed it was some kind of test they did on me. They told me that I would be alright. They would heal my wounds and help me. They lied to my face. Now I can't get near a hospital or testing center without having a mental problem. It messes up all aura signals once I get near one. My head starts aching sometimes and I keep saying open thoughts. Deep secrets, my thoughts, and my past. "

Rae looked at her own clothes, it was a hospital gownd. It was horrible, she stood up, and began to walk out of the room. She opened the door, then turned to look at him. " I'll be right back. " Rae walked towards the room she was in, then looked up at her old pair of clothes. She put them on, enjoying the small tears in the shirt. The pants were already torn. It seemed that the nurses had clean and fixed her clothes. She felt more comfortable in these clothes. She began to walk back to Hunters room. " I was abused as a child. " She said, not even realizing it.

Hunter blinked. The first part didn't actually give reason to why she walked away and this recent news was something he didn't really know how to deal with or what to say to. He wasn't beaten as a child, he had a nice family that is still living well.

Rae sighed, moving her hair from her eyes. " I never was taught that someone would always be there for you. I often sat in the forest or darkest, longing for a friend. What was your life like? " She asked, trying to change the subject. Her eyes getting clouded up with tears.

In the room next to Hunter's, the sound of medical machines whirring and beeping filled the darkness. Isobel stirred in her sleep. Rae and Hunter's voices could just be heard, if one listened hard enough and blocked out the noise of the machinery. She wasn't really used to sleeping laying down. she couldn't sleep on her back, for obvious reasons. Then her left wing was in a sling and stuck out a little, so she couldn't sleep on that side either. So that left sleeping on her right side and on her stomach, which was how she was now. Completely spread across the bed with one hand and a foot hanging off the bed.
