Hi, I'm Spider. :)

I tend to do fantasy roleplays (with some romance here and there) and all of them are usually OCs and not based off anything. I've only ever done a couple roleplays before that were actually based off a game (e.g. Detroit: Become Human), but I still used my own OC. I'm never confident I can accurately portray a pre-written character, so I tend to avoid that but I'd be willing to try if it came to it.

I'm down to roleplay pretty much anything in any genre, but I have mad anxiety about roleplaying with new people and I've never written with strangers before. But I'm willing to try and overcome that, so here I am. In the... hmm, decade-ish?... that I've been writing, I can only think of 4 people that I wrote long-term with.

I currently have a pet snake, he is adorable and he likes kisses.
I'd love to be able to write as a side job in the future, but I often reread my writing and get disheartened so I get my writing fix via roleplays instead.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk :D
Welcome, Spider!

I used to get really nervous about my writing too - I think a lot of us can attest to that! It's really just something that takes time and experience. That said, if you've had several long-term partners, I have to say you're in a good place! :)

I dream of being able to write or draw as a job, don't we all :D

Hope you have a great time here!

Hi, Spider, and welcome! Fantasy roleplay is probably my favorite genre of them all, although I dabble in a wide variety. I don't think the anxiety ever goes away--I still experience it any time I play something new, even if it's with a partner I've had for a long time. I am hopeful you can overcome your nerves, and please feel free to reach out anytime! I am always looking for new friends, though I am sure you will find that in spades here. :)

I hope you get the opportunity to writing as a side job one day! I look forward to seeing what you create.

Welcome again, and please do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions!
