The Fallen King (played by Falyn)

The idea is to try to describe your character using as many senses as possible. It can be just one, or all five and you can always come back and edit if you find more. It's just a fun little exercise in creativity. It's one per character. I'll start with the Fallen King who is both the male character and his puppet.

Sight: A man burly man of above average height by a few inches. He wears an odd assortment of old clothes including a thick dirty grey winter coat, an long woolen striped orange and green scarf, an odd bright orange helmet with various pins and a hood attached to it. He wears round wire rimmed sun glasses. Cropped black hair and a thick black goatee. In his hand his puppet is a wearing a regal, if some what drab gown of browns, golds and greens. He has large alien eyes that stare through you as well as black hair and a black twirling moustache. A small golden crown sits atop the puppets head.

Smell: Musty, damp, with a sweet hint of candy and bubble gum wrappers.

Sound: The puppet speaks in a higher more agitated tone when used as a mouth piece for strange doomsday prophecies about the coming end of days. The man has a deeper, gravelly voice with a North English accent.

Touch: Rough, almost rubbery like skin.

Taste: I wouldn't recommend it for either!
Rene (played by Leighoflight)

Sight: Average height pale human who is very thin but hides it under this clothing for the most part. Short brown hair with a side parting combed over. His right ear and right temple is completely covered in scar tissue. His iris is white. Generally has an expression of concern on his face more often than not.

Smell: Dirt, BO, rotten meat, decaying things, damp

Sound: French Canadian accent but can produce an inhuman screeching at times. Fluent in English and French.

Touch: Cold as if frozen, especially the chest.

Taste: I wouldn’t….probably catch something….or at least get a stomach bug for a few days...
Nina Phelps (played by Dawnia)

Sight: A five and a half foot blonde woman with bluish-greenish-hazel eyes.
Smell: Based on a current RP, sweat and cut vegetation mixed with what was left of her morning body-wash scent.
Sound: A smooth, fair, somewhat dulcet voice from her intermittently-erratic cigarette smoking, and general cannabis smoking.
Touch: Fairly soft skin and fine hair, though hands and fingers can be rough when they are dry.
Taste: Her husband Daniel says she tastes somewhat lingeringly-sweet yet a bit earthy.
Velveloth (played anonymously)

Sight: Ebony skin with slight blue tones. Shoulder-length white hair that blooms in sunlight if he's out during the day, he usually keeps it controlled in a braid that hangs down his left shoulder. One natural red eye but the other is green and was considered a defect when he was born. 5'10, tall for a drow.
Smell: Linseed oil, leather, and aniseed, though there is sometimes a subtle hint of mint.
Sound: Even tones with a slight accent that are similar in weight to middle eastern.
Touch: Smooth skin with calloused hands and his back is furrowed with scars. Hair is fine and silken.
Taste: Aniseed. He enjoys the scent of the essential oil on his skin and often chews on the seeds.
Einyon (played anonymously)

Sight: Tall dark with knife ears. Frowns and sneers at humans.

Smell: Clean, right!

Sound: Soft voice in lispy elvish, usually. Otherwise trudges along being the group of adventures so they can't hear him complain.

Touch: Don't touch me!

Taste. No, don't even go there!
West (played by Claine)

Sight: A human man tan skin and pale hair. He has a short and stocky build, and holds himself with confidence and a barely contained temper. His face and his hands - or at least, his right hand are both scarred. A longer inspection of the other will reveal it to be synthetic of nature, although very reaslitically crafted.

Smell: Greese, Tobacco, Alcohol, Body Odour.

Sound: A surprisingly deep voice, and fluent in two languages. Blunt to the point of rudeness, not willing to engage in frivolous or personal topics. Quiet around strangers, surprisingly talkative to friends.

Touch: Adverse to being touched. Skin rough with calluses and scars. Despite its apparance, his entire left arm is cool and metallic.

Taste. Probably similar as to how he smells.
Sight: A short young woman with a thin, flat chested build. Ashen skin and mustard yellow hair, crimson eyes on black sclera, and horribly pointed teeth. Her body sports various mutations, including elven ears, horns, an imp tail, digitigrade legs, and four arms. Wears a mustard yellow varsity jacket, black shorts, and a form fitting crop top underneath.
...Hold on, where'd the extra eyes and mouths come from?

Smell: A subtle mix of blood, decay, and apples. Her breath should come with a warning label.

Sound: A loud and raspy voice, somewhat deeper than most females. She's capable of reducing her voice to an unintelligible mix of otherworldly-sounding gurgles and growls, but chooses not to do this unless she's actively trying to scare somebody.

Touch: Her skin is very fair and soft. But I wouldn't recommend trying to touch her, especially if a certain part of her skin has started to convulse; you may end up losing some fingers, if not your hand.

Taste: Yeah, I wouldn't recommend trying to taste her, either. If anything, she'd be much more interested in tasting you.
Pluto (played by MeatCathedral)

Sight: A slender young-looking man with ethereal beauty. Hypnotic eyes, deep blue with maroon undersides. Skin brushed a plummish purple, probably peering coldly at you behind shiny black sunglasses.

Smell: He usually smells of rain and a lot of cologne or perfume. He often likes to stand in the rain to feel refreshed, and is worried of his scent being tracked by other vampires, so he often sprays too much of the stuff on.

Sound: His voice is on the lighter side, often emotionless, cold, and soft. He tends to joke with quite the dry sense of humor as well

Touch: Silky skin and hair, and is a fan of soft clothing, he's basically soft all over. But has some sharp bits, like his fangs and retractable claws.

Taste: His blood has been described by other vampires as sweet with a slight tartness, similar to blackberries. He tries to keep his blood out of other's mouths though.
Dyoma (played anonymously)

Sight: She sees the colors in an introverted perspective, but she can see far away (about 64 feet away).

Smell: She smells like decay, stone, and old leather-backed books.

Sound: She sounds like a typical Endermen but when threatened, she hisses like a spider.

Touch: She feels very fluffy. ^^

Taste: She's been said to of tasted like decay or eggs... Rarely anybody tries to attack, let alone taste her.
Patches (played by GingerHades)

Sight: A big ragdoll with eggshell white 'skin', navy blue woolly dreadlocks, and burgundy patches sewn crudely on different parts of their body. They have a single soulless eye, their other one being missing (with a thick X sewn over where it should've been). Their mouth is poorly sewn shut, but it can be opened to a degree. They 'wear' a dull lavender jacket, with a cartoonishly big zipper on their torso. They also have little black slippers. They look adorable, yet incredibly eerie.

Smell: Like fabric softener and dryer sheets. A much cleaner smell than how they'd look.

Sound: Mostly quiet. Patches is mute unless you pull on the string on their back. Patches' voice is androgynous, and extremely childlike. Sounds somewhat distorted (but not distorted enough to be unintelligible).

Touch: Very fleecy, warm and soft, no different than any stuffed toy. Very squishy and huggable!

Taste: Like fabric... Not sure what you were expecting.
Kt-tk Tktchi'chkt (played by Riik)

Sight: An unholy union of kitty, spider, humanoid and alien. Kt-tk is fluffy, coated in soft fur that is nowhere near as coarse as one might expect from something with arachnoid features. Their eight amber eyes are unblinking and their jawless mouth is an eternally-open hole in the underside of their head, guarded by a pair of arachnoid fangs and accompanying pedipalps. Kt-tk has powerful arms, ending in strong three-fingered mitt-like hands, each finger ending in a crimson claw. Small holes sit within the centre of each palm, from where they can launch sticky silk to entrap prey. Kit's three legs end at simple points, extending from their pelvis upwardly, before extending downward. The natural green markings on their black fur are a familial trait and form clear symbol-like shapes that are used as the written form of their name. Tufts form hair-like growths of fur on the top of their head, naturally appearing boyish in nature, despite the species being asexual.

Smell: Kt-tk's general body smells like an old dusty jumper left in a wooden wardrobe for a few years. It is neither a strong nor unpleasant scent, but is definitely noticeable. A sour and somewhat unpleasant scent comes from their general mouth area from old food that has gotten caught in their fur. Due to the manner in which they consume prey, it is not somewhere one wants to get close to with their olfactory sensory organs; though thankfully the smell doesn't travel far beyond their mouth and is substantially less pungent than the smell of their food when it is fresh. Kt-tk's hands have an oily, chemical-esque smell due to the odour of the adhesive substance that coats their silk. Though this smell fades with time - particularly when Kt-tk's hands have been submerged in water - Kt-tk requires regular meals like any typical being, as thus aside from cases of stockpiling, produces silk quite regularly.

Sound: Kt-tk's small feet are coated in a layer of flesh and muffled by fur, making their footsteps surprisingly quiet. Their three points of contact with any surface spreads their weight out so that they make even less sound than they might otherwise make with two, though naturally, they are not immune to getting caught out by creaky terrain. The spindly feet can also easily squeeze between stones in gravelly terrain rather than crushing large amounts underfoot as is common with other species. Kt-tk's native tongue is a series of insectoid clicks, chirps, chitters and croaks. The sound largely seems to come from their throat, though can be manipulated through movements of their fangs as well as using said fangs to stretch the flap of skin under their mouth opening into various shapes. Using this technique, they can also create rudimentary sounds that border on humanoid speech, though they are limited by their lack of tongue or jaw and thus cannot produce every sound - and the sounds they do produce are different enough that it takes some getting used to in order to even interpret what they are trying to say.

Touch: Kt-tk's fur is soft and fluffy and quite pleasant to touch. The skin and bones underneath are reminiscent of a human's anatomy, though they have a substantially different pelvic structure to account for their third leg. Kt-tk doesn't mind their eyes being gently touched, and they have a squishy jelly-like feeling to them. Kt-tk's hands are often oily and greasy after handling their silk-cocooned meals. This is due to secreting a substance that prevents the silk from sticking to their palms.

Taste: As one might expect from a vaugely-humanoid being covered in fur, their flesh tastes not unlike a human's, albeit it somewhat bitter, particularly in the aftertaste; and their fur tastes like... fur. Their palms tend to taste like a combination of sweat and cooking oil due to the adhesive-phobic secretions. The silk they produce has the bitterness of a chemical bittering agent. A normal human should stay well clear of the food packets Kt-tk creates of their prey, as they are said to be sickeningly bitter, sour and generally quite revolting. Perhaps there is a reason that skyttrki have such a limited and specialised sense of taste! Their food has often been compared to trash, rotten vegetables, vomit, expired milk and swamp water.
Sight: By human standards, a more than impressively tall dragoness, of magnificent, deep-blue scales and delicate seafoam membranes, eyes, and frills. She has a head shape almost like a large-brained aquatic mammal, all sleek, flowing lines graceful arcs and sharp teeth, with the additions of fish-like frills from her cheeks and an array of soft, hair-like spikes hanging off the back of her head. She has somewhat broad shoulders and incredibly broad hips, her long and powerful legs attached more like a lizard's, almost beside the body, rather than under it like a mammal, letting her powerful fluked tail flow out from her torso. She has large, long-toed feet with a sturdy membrane between the toes, and her hands follow suit but leave the thumbs free.

Sound: Her voice always brings liquids or glass to mind, from the chattering babble of a stream to the furious roar of crashing waves to the chuckle and conversational tones sounds of water or wine being poured to the beautiful song of glass wind-chimes and resonating bowls. When she walks, at least on hard surfaces, there's a rhythmic *click-click-click* of her claws tapping down.

Touch: Her scales are smooth like a glazed ceramic to the touch, or sometimes like an ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene, so smooth you might not believe you're actually touching it. Her scales are pliable, though, and slightly cool to the touch. Her membranes and frills are warm, and feel more like dolphin skin.

Scent: Sea breezes, liquor, and hints of a recent night of pleasure linger around her. Always the first, with the rest varying in intensity and not all always being there.

Taste: no, Liqui! Bad goddess! Not like that on public forums! whacks her with a rolled up newspaper

coughs Okay, if you were to lick her scales and nowhere else, it would be like licking drops of slightly salty water off glass. Her scales are innert enough to not have too much other flavor beyond the vague concept of the sea.

Divine Aura Bonus: Her presesnce tends to cause slight temperature shifts, like how large bodies of water normalize air temperature in a region across seasons, toward the most comfortable temperature for those around her (as long as it's between the freezing and boiling points of water). If she's in a particularly bad mood, her divine presence can also cause uneven feelings of pressure (imagine if some parts of you were doing deep-water diving while the rest stayed at the surface), slight anomalies in the sense of balance, and confusion about where body parts feel like they are relative to each other, together causing nausea. In a good mood, she makes pain abstract, still there and useful, but not distracting, debilitating, or even uncomfortable, and also easier to recognize and explain.
Elric of Melniboné (played anonymously)

Sight. White, bright almost blinding when in the sun.

Sound. Quiet, almost. The soft rustle of a whisper as I sigh. I talk deeply with a smooth mellow voice, evenly toned.

Touch. Silky skin, firm under fingertips. Puckered scars.

Taste. Can only be described if you place your lips tenderly against mine. But I would imply a trace of herbs.
