I was once a kid with an overwhelming imagination, creating all kinds of worlds and people I so casually slipped into with what you would call a larp I think. I used to be an aspiring writer because of it and now as a person with lack of motivation and willpower to turn that imagination into a book... here I am! And I still have loads of character's and ideas to come. I am very familiar with roleplay as well and I am excited to get things... rolling.

Do you still play LARP, by chance? I did for a number of years and kinda fell out of it these past couple years. But it always so much fun!

Well, hi there and welcome to RPR! Nice to meet you! I'm Light, but you can call me Lucree.

So, you used to LARP? What kind of characters did you play back then? Oh! And do you have a favorite roleplay genre, or one you haven't tried yet but would like to?

Man, I did larping for years, there isn't much untouched aside from romance lol
My very first character was half dragon and we got crazy into this whole world and all, so fantasy is definitely my thing.really, think of a creature and I probably have a character of or at least loosely based off of it xD. I guess I can say I haven't done too much with humans and more realistic rps, funny enough
But yeah! I'd love to rp, I have pleanty of characters to choose from and I can still pretty much make one up on the spot if need bee, so shoot me with anything, I'm excited to roleplay again

Larp is definitely very interesting and I have yet to try it. What did you enjoy most about it?

I feel like the best part is the uninterrupted feeling of being in character and fully understanding the very gravity of whatever situation you put them in. You feel for them completely when you're in character enough. I've never been afraid of the dark for instance, but I've managed to scare the hell out of my friend and I once over a ceiling fan
That and the lack of grammatical issues for my dyslexic ass is a great plus lol

Nice to see new people joining this lovely community! More people to chat. RP and just get to know! You might meet friends that live miles away from you and I think that’s pretty cool!

Been RPing for years and I would never change that! And this is one of the best of the best.

Some couple helpful pieces of information!

One, Characters. I recommend you put enough detail into things so every one who wants to RP with you is satisfied by the amount of information!

Two, rules. I recommend you make rules for yourself and partners. You don’t have to be rude about them but it’s a good idea to put your foot down and say what you will do and what you won’t do, or what you like and how you want your partner to treat you! This should be fun for both of ya!

Three, don’t be nervous to talk to people!! You may miss out on that RP you really wanted to do, or that person you wanted to chat with!! Don’t do that to yourself, everyone I’ve met is so kind and sweet that I felt dumb for being nervous!

And four, be kind. I know I praise this place like my god but there can be some nasty people on here... and when that happens, it ruins everyone’s fun. We all can’t see eye to eye but it doesn’t mean we can’t try now right? Be kind and treat people with respect, you never know what they may be going through.
