Diran Jiru (played by DiranJiru)

I noticed these kinds of games are the most popular, so I wanted to take a crack at it. The game is as the title says.

I'll give an example as a way to start.

I learned how much even a moment of someone's time can mean to them. The time I spent, as little as they had left, were the best. I beg you, Treasure even the little moments in your life. Because we forget how much they really do for us.
When you live amongst wolves, you must grow fangs
Lizbeth Redwood (played by Fantax)

"Sire Marcus Leocadus, honorable fighter and noble wolf, does your soul ever find peace? Let nature inspire you, feel the blossom of this strong entity, let the bloom enter your heart. Flowers are so delicate and yet so strong. Find peace and let the rage in your soul fade for the wonder called nature", Lizbeth bows with all respect this man deserves.
Alora Pershick (played by Poppet)

Alora furrowed her brow. When she was tugged into this game by her brother, she never thought she’d have to form a solid thought behind it. What was so fun about wisdom? Wisdom was attained through trial and error, and hardships, not random quotes. This wasn’t Pinterest!

Her nail raked against her jaw as she leaned against the table, humming under her breath. She supposed she had some wisdom. Maybe it wasn’t the best, but it was what she learned through her time as a hunter… and maybe it could help someone else.

“Well, I would say that following your heart isn’t always the smartest option. Emotions are persuasive and your heart can lead you down dark paths without you realizing it,” she crossed her arms. “Violence isn’t always the best option, just like peace can sometimes be more dangerous than bloodshed. Emotions and decisions are fickle like that.”
"When you live amongst wolves, you must grow fangs"

It doesn't seem quite possible...
Elaine Van Freyr (played by 0089)

"Those that says it's the journey that matters not the destination, clearly never had experienced the urge to go to the bathroom."
“Take lots of notes for the amnesia, and stay away from married men (especially when drinking.)”
Meph Norwish (played by Eros_Calls)

"Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth. Oh, never mind. You will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they’ve faded. But trust me, in 20 years, you’ll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can’t grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked."

"Most stuff is free if you are fast enough!"
Count Orlok (played by Vozhad)

"Time is a pit that devours mortals, and most of mortals deserve to be swallowed by time; only the ones who are not judgmental and can think and understand deserve to ascend to greatness!"
"It's an awful truth that suffering can deepen us, give a greater luster to our colors, a richer resonance to our words. That is, if it doesn't destroy us, if it doesn't burn away the optimism and the spirit, the capacity for visions, and the respect for simple yet indispensable things."
~ Anne Rice Queen of the Damned

The poet sings of the desperate bayonet charge; the strategist ensures it is never necessary. True victory is not found in the heat of a soldier's courage, but in necessary procedruals such as artillery coordinates which the uninitiated would dismiss as mundane. If the enemy reaches our line with breath enough to scream, you have in part failed your calibrations as a commander. A hero is a soldier who failed to request adequate fire support. I do not want martyrs who die for the Emperor; I want disciplined guardsmen who kill for Him and live to march another ten kilometers. Sacrifice is a tactical resource, not a moral virtue. Do not spend it cheaply.

And some of you will now attest to the burdens of command to which I shall say, Leadership is to navigate by the light of cold stars. If you weep for every soul lost in the pursuit of the objective, you will eventually go blind. My conscience is not weighted by the dead, but by the efficiency of their passing. A thousand deaths to secure a continent is a bargain; a single death in a botched maneuver is a tragedy of logistics. To lead is to stand upon a peak where the air is too thin for sentiment. Your subordinates seek approval; your enemies seek your life. Grant neither. you are not their comrade, nor their foil. The schola progenium trains you to be the focal point through which the Emperor’s will is refracted into a thousand firing solutions. One does not seek warmth from a lighthouse; one simply follows its beam to avoid the rocks. Embody such and Emperor willing you will in the very least die with dignity.

I am often asked how I sleep knowing the casualty lists that bear my signature. I sleep soundly because those lives were traded, not wasted. To die in a chaotic rout is a tragedy; to die as the anchor of a pincer maneuver that shatters any ambition the arch-enemy once held is a fulfillment of purpose. I do not owe my men a long life, I owe them a death that matters. A man is a fragile thing, he breaks, he tires, he fears. But a soldier in formation is a constant. I do not command men; I command a density of fire. I do not care what a guardsman thinks in the dark of his trench, so long as his finger finds the trigger at the exact millisecond my vox-command reaches his ear. Order is the only mercy I offer.

When the smoke clears, the galaxy will not ask if we were kind. It will not ask if we knew the names of the fallen or if we shared their rations. It will ask only one thing: Does this world belong to the Throne? My burden is to ensure that the answer is 'Yes,' regardless of the ink used to write it. What is yours ?

Lord General Von Drakenfell - Reflections on The Balion Campaigns
Elaine Van Freyr (played by 0089)

"If you pick up trash with your feet to throw to the bin, you can save time and skip washing your hands"
Skullsmasha (played by randomentity777)

"If you's can krump many gitz in one swing, then you leaves more time for krumpin' more gitz."
"If you can partake in war, you are a war hero..."
Missouri (played by AgitoAceXIII)

"Being a war hero isn't all there is to life. Eventually, heroes get old and fade to history. Even if you end a war, like me, there will be another another war to take place."
Caelar Vane (played by Tyranoth)

"If you're too busy listening to your own voice, you might miss the sound of the safety turning off"
Raptor (played anonymously)

"Enough cyberware, and you're disassociating with humanity. Most people think humans can't accept their new found abilities, that if you can jump high enough, hit hard enough, have enough weapons in your body you think of yourself as some sort of tank rather than human.

They're not wrong, but they come at this from a far too human centered perspective.

You stop thinking of yourself as one of 'em. All those humans walking around, bound by the limits of the flesh start feeling like a different species.
It makes things easier: they have no qualms about killing you, since you're not human. You have no qualms about killing them, since you're not human. You're not at constant war, but you'll never know peace either.

What most people don't get is that the moment you hit that threshold, where whatever you were before the legs or the digital eye isn't a memory but a distance dream, things change
Your soul isn't something you carefully put on the scales anymore, wondering if this powerful piece of cyberware will be worth the cost of your very self.
No.
Your soul becomes a budget.
It is the only remaining limit between you and the sky, and you'll spend it gladly just to get a bit closer.
That's the moment where you should ask yourself: is it a mistake to spend it all in one place?

My solution: get yourself an anchor. Like a favorite human or something. In my case, it was a kitty cat. That way, at least you have something to keep yourself grounded."
"Oh my god, This isn't a concert. Take a chill pill and relax already. I felt like I was listening to a opera song..."
Tensai (played by randomentity777)

"Pls rember that when you feel scare or frigten never forget ttimes wen u feeled happy. Wen day is dark alway rember happy day."
