Amusingly, I actually learned about Ea-Nasir in college. I forget which class, though.

Protein folding sounds super cool to me

One of the riddles last year almost made me start looking up stuff about protein folding, IIRC

My brain wants to write RPs, but RPs are slow during epic week and also most of the ones I had going got killed because I disappeared for a few months because school.

I actually know a kid majoring in biochem in high school.

I only have a small handful of "open" RPs, only 2 of which still seem to actually be going, and all of them are waiting on someone else right now.

I definitely need to drag the rules-lite Tomb of Horrors crew back into action at some point. 0v 0

Do any of y'all also find that your RPs tend to have one player sort of emerge into a GM-like position rather than it staying equal? That seems to pretty much always happen in my games, and it seems to usually be me. @_@ (So in both the rps I'm waiting on, I've been gently trying to make the other players have to decide a little more of it.)

Yeah, I definitely find that's common.

I find that it tends to happen a lot if a given person's setting is being used as the game setting, or if someone has a stronger idea for a setting than the other.

Equal balance does seem really hard to maintain, but maybe we can at least pass the ball back and forth a little more?
