Arien caught her arm as she walked past. "I can't do that, Red. You sleeping outside would be even colder than sleeping inside with the door open. Take the bed, I don't need a mattress; I'm used to the hard ground anyway. And keep the cloak...the fire will keep me plenty warm--as will Bella."
If his tone went a little despairing it was only because sleeping next to Bella was hardly the same as sleeping next to a certain other person.
He paused as another idea occurred that might satisfy both their needs. "We could just doze in front of the fire, together," he added almost hesitantly.

Red looked at Arien then smiled.
"I think dozing by the fire would be nice," she said softly, still smiling.
In fact Red loved the idea, inside she was jumping around like a little kid who just got the present they had been dying to recieve.

Internally, Arien punched the air with exaggerated gusto. Externally he merely smiled and released his hold on her arm. "After you, m'lady." He said with a grin and a slight bow.
Red laughed softly and walked over to the fireplace she sat down and stroked Bella's fur before putting a couple more pieces of wood on the fire.
"Night Bella," she whispered to the wolf and smiled.
Red had taken a fancy to the wolf, her and Red being the only females that is.

Arien followed her over and made himself comfortable as Bella heaved a contented sigh and shifted closer to Red. The wolf whacked her tail twice on the ground in contentment before closing her eyes again.
Arien chuckled and shook his head. "Bella is an odd creature," he murmured, "But I'm really glad you two get along."

"Well no duh. We are the only females here," Red teased Arien and poked his stomach softly in a playful manner.
She laid down beside the fire, feeling sleepy again. Sighing, Red relaxed and watched as shadows danced on the far wall, from the fire's flames.

Arien tried to evade the poke and failed miserably as he fell over. Picking himself up he grinned. "Yes, well, no need to remind me of that. I have to contend with tigers after all."
Right. Tigers. No one was going to believe anything he ever said ever again. Not that they believed him in the first place... He lay down and sighed heavily. The fire felt warm and nice; and knowing that Red was somewhere next to him was even nicer. Who cared what people thought. He was going to enjoy this moment for as long as possible.

Red looked at him and smiled. "Well dont worry about those two. They arent much competiton," she whispered as she realized everyone, but her and Arien, were asleep.
Patch had curled up close to Bella to keep warm. Red realized she was still holding Arien's cloak.
"Oh," she murmured then started to hand Arien his cloak.

Arien snorted. "Right," he said, whispering as well. "If you're cold, keep it." Honestly, he'd probably just lie on it if she gave it to him--he'd be too warm with the fire to want to use it for a blanket. "Want me to stir the fire up a little more?"
"Well i just put wood on it so i think it should be fine for a bit," she whispered.
Red put Arien's cloak over her and rested her head on the ground, closing her eyes. Suddenly feeling exhausted.
"Goodnight Arien..." she murmured before falling asleep quickly.
Red looked alot more relaxed in her sleep than she did awake. Nothing seemed to disturb her in her dreams. A few strands of her hair fell in her face as she turned.

For a moment, Arien was content to simply gaze upon Red's slumbering face. He wondered what she was dreaming about or if she did, before he yawned and a stray thought zipped unwarranted through his mind. Why did he feel so protective of her? And especially upon seeing this side of her?
Gently, softly, he moved to brush the few strands of hair out of her face before lying down protectively beside her. If anything was coming through that door, it would have to get past him first. ...his eyes closed and he soon fell asleep.

Birds tweeted in the early morning waking Red from her sleep. She hardly remembered what took place last night. Suddenly she blushed when she realized, that she was snuggled into Arien. Red knew that she did that and not him.
Looking up at him she smiled breifly at him sleeping. He looked cute and peaceful. Then she started to move away from him.

Something moving at his side woke him a little. He stirred but didn't bother opening his eyes. Instead he tried to hook an arm around her waist, wanting to continue to snuggle. "Mmm, don't go..."
Red blushed then smiled and relaxed. In fact she didnt mind staying close to him.
"Ok," she whispered and stayed snuggled into him.
For the first time in her life, she had no worries and she was very happy here. With Arien, everything else that she had on her mind melted away.

It was heaven on earth for Arien. And he was content simply to hold her; except that he didn't want to let her go. He opened his eyes to her amber hair and gently he stroked it. Soft, silky, smooth.
"What do you think of traveling?" he asked softly, in an off handed manner that was anything but--for he'd been thinking of it for a while.

Red closed her eyes, loving the feel of him stroking her hair.
"Traveling?..I think it would be intresting. I've never traveled before.." she whispered.
Neo and Nex slept comfortably outside, they thought about going inside because it was still cold outside.
Inside Red shivered a little, because the fire went out. It was a little cold but she ignored it.

"We'd be pretty safe," Arien murmured, thinking that between the tigers and the wolf, nothing short of the Apocalypse would take them on. "And...I'd like it if you came with me."
He continued to stroke her hair, and feeling her shiver he moved a little closer, wanting to keep her warm. "What do you think?"

Red was silent for a moment then she opened her eyes and looked up at Arien. She smiled.
"I would love to come with you," she said softly.
I suppose it wouldnt be too bad. I mean i could see alot of stuff and maybe we could get away from Ash for a while.. And i get to be with Arien..

Arien grinned down at her and then hugged her tight. "We'll have fun, and I can show you some incredible towns and cities...the variety of foods..."
It wouldn't matter if Ash showed up or not, because Arien wasn't planning on leaving Red's side for a moment. You want Red, he thought, you'll have to take me out first. And at this very moment, he felt invincible--because of Red.

Red laughed and hugged back. Neo and Nex then came in through the door, shivering. The two tigers froze when they saw Arien and Red. Nex sent the image to Neo right when he saw it and Neo shook his head in disbelief.
What the hell? Neo sent the thought to Nex.
The Nex shook his head not knowing how to answer.
