"I thought you'd never ask," he replied, rubbing his hands together at the prospect. He eyed her now, sizing her up. He'd done this before, he got that deja vu feeling, but sparring and out-and-out fighting were two different things.

He grinned. "Just don't expect me to hold back too much."

"Dont worry. I never expected you too. So dont expect me too either," she said and got out of her bed.
She grabbed her father's gold bladed sword.
"Come on now. Pick a weapon and lets go," she prompted and walked out the front door. Not waiting for Arien.
Arien had the sinking feeling he'd be making more breakfast apologies later, but he grabbed his sword in its sheath and followed her outside. He couldn't wait to see what training she had.

It was perfect weather for training. He began stretching to warm up his muscles a little. "So, how long have you been training for?" he asked.

Red paused and looked at him. "Since before my town burned down. My dad taught me all the time," she murmured.
Her eyes reflected happy but sorrowful memories at the same time. Then she snapped back into reality and smiled.
"I hope your ready because it wont be easy going for you," she said confidently.
Arien straightened and flexed his muscles. He grinned at seeing Red's resolve, and then drew his sword. Automatically he fell back into a defensive stance, one he had pretty much committed to muscle memory after fighting so many wolves in the woods. The added advantage was he didn't need so much space either to swing--though he had ample here.

"Bring it on, woman," he said, his eyes glittering with excitement, though they didn't quite meet hers.

Red ran forward at him then quickly ducked down and dived to the side of him. She slid along the grass quickly and slashed his shirt making sure not to get skin. Quickly she dug her hands into the ground flipped backwards, standing in defense position now.
It was only because he was used to wolves, that he thanked his quick reflexes. He brought his sword around in a quick parry, reflecting her blow at his shirt, and sending vibrations through both weapons.

Then, seeing her defensive stance, he attacked, sprinting forward and cutting his sword sidewise across her middle. It would be an easy block, but his swing had some power to it.

Red did something unexpected and didnt block it at all. She simply caught it with her hand. Shockingly it didnt cut through her hand.
Red swung her chain that was attached to her sword's hilt. It wrapped around Arien, tieing his arms to his sides. In a flash she had the swords blade to his throat.
"Dead," she whispered in his ear.
Surprised by the fact she didn't counter, he tried to pull his swing even as her hand closed around his sharp sword. And then he found himself tied up in a chain with a sword at his throat.

He grinned, realizing she was unhurt, before asking. "Are you sure about that?" He vanished to reappear behind her, his sword leveled at her neck. "Touche."

Red smiled and looked back at him.
"Touche," she murmured.
No one had been this good in a while, she wouldnt mind the extra effort it would take to bring him down.
Red quickly ducked down and swung her leg out, kicking his legs out from under him.
"Ack!" he yelped as he went down, tossing the sword aside so he didn't skewer himself on it. "No fair!" he growled as he landed flat on his back.

Red stuck her sword in the ground then she pounced on top of Arien, pinning him down. She laughed softly and put a dagger to his throat but just barely then put it back in her boot.
"I win. And it was totally fair," she said in a cheery tone.
Red kept Arien pinned down and stuck her tongue out in a childish manner.
Arien struggled even from his pinned position and then flopped back, breathing hard. He grinned lopsidedly up at Red. "Congratulations, you've just beat an injured man."

But he wasn't complaining. "I gotta admit, I probably enjoyed that more than I should have. You're good."

"I know i am," she said smugly then got off Arien.
Red brushed off her clothes and sneezed when dirt came off her clothes. Sniffling Red reached for her sword.
Arien picked himself up and then dusted himself off, before picking up his own discarded sword.

"Bless you," he said when he heard her sneeze. "You alright? Not getting sick are you?"

Red smiled. "Thank you. No im pretty sure im as healthy as i can be," she said happily.
Sheathing her sword, Red stretched a little and enjoyed the sunshine. It was cold out but there were sun patches here and there.
Red walked over to a patch of sun then took off her sheathed sword and tossed it to the side. She lied down in the sunlight. This feels great..
Arien sat down in the sunlight as well, cleaning his sword methodically. He whistled a tune softly as he did so and then tested the keen edge on his sword with the polishing cloth. It was a clean slice.

He slid his sword back into its sheath and then began to polish the blue stone set into the pommel.

Red looked over at him and smiled.
"Do you ever just relax?" she murmured to him.
Red was as relaxed as she could be and nothing was on her mind, except maybe spending time with Arien.
Arien looked over at Red and grinned. "I am relaxed. You should see me when I'm feeling anxious."

He set the sword aside, satisfied that the jewel was polished as well as could be and then army-crawled his way over to Red where she lay in the sun. He sighed and flopped onto his belly next to her. "No wait, now I'm relaxed."

Red laughed a little then closed her eyes and soaked up the warmth of the sun.
"Well your relaxing is obviously different from mine," she said in a playful tone.
Sitting up a little, Red took the pony tail out of her hair. Red's hair fell in loose spirals down her shoulders and back. Sighing with complete relaxation, she laid back again. Her hair almost glowed in the light, making it look like it was on fire.
