Bella leaped up, fur raised, as she growled at Nex.

Arien, once he recovered from his surprise, laughed. He wiped his face with his arm. "Thanks, Nex; and I thought the rain wasn't enough of a shower. Ugh. Bella, I'm fine."

Her fur slowly flattened, but she sat herself down between Nex and Arien.

It seemed as though Nex was grinning then he trotted back to Red's room.

When Nex left, Red laughed and looked at Arien. "Im sorry that was pretty funny though," she said still laughing.
Red realized that Arien was probably hungry and she started to get up.
"Are you hungry?" she asked.

Arien's stomach growled in response and he grinned. "I can help you in the kitchen if you like. Bella? Where's that squirrel you caught earlier?"

Bella dashed outside to fetch the squirrel as Arien got to his feet. "What was all that about anyway?" he asked, looking for a wash basin to wipe his face clean of tiger slobber.

"I would love the help. Thanks," she said with a smile then headed into the kitchen.

Red knew he probably wanted to wash his face so she filled a small bowl with water. Walking out, she handed it to him.
"Here you go. I have no idea, maybe they are going nuts," she said in a joking way.

"Ah thanks." He washed his face eagerly in the washbasin and then frowned when he felt his beard growing in. "I need to shave," he muttered to himself.

"If they're going nuts, maybe I should get more creative with my snares. Wouldn't want them to take my arm with them the next time they go nuts."

He dried his face off on his green cloak and then got up to help Red in the kitchen. "Thanks for the water."

"No problem." Red dismissed it quickly.
She froze as she realized, for the past few days the burning hasnt come back.
"Arien." she said quietly, still shocked.

Sensing something was amiss he looked over at her. "What is it?"

Bella chose just then to run into the kitchen, carrying the squirrel she had caught earlier, and dropped it at Arien's feet. She sat happily, tail wagging, waiting for praise.

"The burning hasnt come back. It hasnt been back for days," she whispered.
Then slowly she turned around and bent down, picking up the squirrel. Red smiled at Bella and scratched her softly.
"Good girl Bella. Your an amazing hunter," she praised the wolf.
Red put the squirrel on the counter and was still smiling. Feeling happier than ever because she had Arien and the pain was gone.

Arien smiled. "That's great news! We should celebrate." He eyed the squirrel. "I should probably skin it. Good girl, Bella."

The Aurean wolf squirmed in happiness as Red scratched her, and then hearing Arien's words, bounded away.

"She'll probably be back with more," he sighed.

"How are we going to celebrate? And its ok we are gonna need more if we are gonna feed a house of six," Red said happily.
She handed Arien the squirrel so he could skin it. Then she took down some vegetables to go in with the squirrel meat. Chopping them up quickly, she watched Arien work.

Arien went to fetch a dagger and then returned to skin the squirrel over a plate. "A house of six, huh? I suddenly understand how my mother felt trying to prepare us dinner. Except here we actually have tigers." He made quick work of the squirrel, skinning it neatly and precisely. He held up the pelt. "Here you go; it'll make a nice glove, if Bella catches more."

True to her name, Bella returned a few minutes later with two more squirrels. "Good girl, Bella," Arien praised, tossing her the liver from the previous squirrel. Bella snapped it up and then dashed outside again. Arien laughed. "I don't think I've ever seen her so excited to hunt."

Even though Red was alot less girly then most girls, she still didnt enjoy holding dead animal skins. Red didnt catch the pelt when he tossed it to her. She was way against wearing any kind of animal.
"Um..Arien. I dont wear animals. I eat them," she said, looking down at the squirrel pelt.

Red smiled as Bella came running back in then back out.
"She does seem quite excited. Maybe it's because there is two of us praising her," Red suggested.

"Oh." Now that Red mentioned it, Arien realized he hadn't seen her wearing anything fur or animal related. Arien supposed that made sense, given that she had two tigers... "Uh, never mind then," he said, picking up the pelt and putting it aside. "Maybe I can trade it for something else."

He picked up the two squirrels and then glanced at Red. "So what do you like? Other than swords with chains?"

Red smiled and hopped up, sitting on the kitchen counter.
"Well im a pretty wicked shot with a bow. Scythes are nice if you can get our hands on one. Roses are nice and i wouldnt mind traveling. Especially if it consists of danger somewhat. I dont mind cooking most of the time," Red gave a whole paraghraph then stopped there.
Looking over at Arien, she smiled. Then leaned over and kissed his cheek gently.
"Thank you," she whispered to him.

That mischievous glint entered Arien's eyes again as Red spouted on about stuff she liked. "Is that all?" he laughed. "I think some of that can be arranged. And as for danger, travel does invite some of that anyway."

He leaned up on tiptoes to kiss her back. "And I don't mind washing dishes," he added with a smirk.

Red smiled then hopped off the counter.
"Then i suppose you wouldnt mind cooking dinner. Then washing the dishes," Red said with a smirk as she started to walk out of the kitchen.

Arien's jaw dropped slightly ajar in surprise as Red looked ready to leave. But his pride as a man refused to let him argue. "Alright, but no complaints as to what I make."

The coy smirk was back, daring her to leave him in charge of preparing dinner.

"Ok then. No complaints," Red saw through his trick and smirked as she left the kitchen.

Neo and Nex trotted out of Red's room and they walked right by here. They went to go sit outside, while Patch practiced hunting.

"Dammit." Arien muttered when she walked out. "Now what do I do?" he looked back at the vegetables she had prepared and then at the squirrels he was finishing preparing. To spike it or not to spike it? That was the question.

"Hey, she knew what she was getting into when she left," he replied, and threw the meat and vegetables into a bowl to stew. But the vial of Tabasco sauce stayed in his pocket while the stew simmered.

Red smiled as she watched him. Sighing, she walked back into the kitchen.
"Oops. Forgot something," she said as she walked past Arien.
Standing on tiptoes, Red reached for a high cabinet and opened it. Taking out a wooden box, she closed the cabinet.
