From an action scene, it gave me Dan Brown. From something with Ashro and something with Raven, I got J.K. Rowling twice. Two different sections using one character, Leo Tolstoy and Raymond Chandler. Another character, I got Leo Tolstoy again, and J.K. Rowling again on another section.

So, uh... *shrugs*
I used two different samples of my writing and got Anne Rice both times. 😍 I can dig it
I got curious and tested out several posts from the same RP...I first got Authur Clarke, then I got JK Rowling which-damn and finally I got Edgar Allan Poe apparently. And then I tried another RP, where I played as Cyrene, and it was Daniel Dafoe and I tried it again, only to get Getrude Stein, and Stephen King next so I am really getting suspicious here...if this website is just randomly generating author’s names for us.

(squint)
Apparently I write like Anne Rice and I've absolutely no idea who that is XD
I'm aspiring to write like Lovecraft, but sadly ...
I'm not sure this site works.

I tested paragraph by paragraph straight down a word document of my own writing and these authors popped up:
hp lovecraft
ursula k leguin
jack london
Vladimir Nabokov x2
Stephen King x3
Arthur Clarke
George Orwell
Leo Tolstoy
Anne Rice

Then I copied all of those paragraphs and and pasted into the test-machine simultaneously and it gave me
Agatha Christie

that's so weird. i looked around and the website doesn't explain the process they use to judge this, either. ah well. it's still fun even if it's just randomly generated.

maybe the algorithm looks for specific vocabulary and sentence structure, which is why it changed every time? i'm not sure, honestly. i don't know a lot about this kind of stuff lol
I got Cory Doctorow.
STEPHEN KING! WHOOP!
Emo

I got Stephen King and Arthur Clark xD
Dan Brown.
red-veins

i got Anne Rice all 5 times for 5 different RPs...i honestly admit i have no idea who she is. xD

Vampires. She's pretty much a legend with vampires.
Rogue-Scribe

I used an excerpt I posted in the Short Story Fun thread in the Games forum. The whole thing gave me Anne Rice. The first paragraph alone gave me Harry Harrison, and about half of it gave me Glen Cook (Tops!). Go Figure.
Anne Rice for me... might have to test more later, just for fun!

First post I've written, Stephen King. Last post I've written, Anne Rice.

Huh.
Got Dan Brown most often. Also Isaac Asimov and J.K. Rowling once.
Arthur Clarke
So...apparently I write like J.K effing Rowling?? This site is a lieee. Her words should not even be dared to be compared with mine. XD
Using my first post from my only RP here so far I got Ian Flemming. Stuff before that was me compiling smaller posts, I started out with a few longer ones. Just was kinda unsure how to word the later ones. I'm sure I'll fix that detail eventually
