It may be easier to get started using it in-browser, if you have a PC. It's a little less friendly on mobile, I think.

Once you're in, if you do it in browser and are logged in, go back to the invite Dazz posted, and open that in a new tab. You may need to log in again (don't ask why, I dunno), but it should bring you to the channel.
