Hey everyone! I'm Haru, and I'm new here. Honestly, I was really happy when I discovered this site. A good old, cozy forum, active, made for RPs and where you can customize character pages? That sounds awesome! It's kinda slow sometimes, but very well written, I haven't found anything weird. Cheers to the developers!
I've been RPing since very little, and in fact I got my best friend because of RPs, so I can say I'm quite fond of it! Of course, when I was like 12 we all just had fun making our extremely overpowered characters fight and see who was the most overpowered. And we all acted like we secretly had a book in our minds about the character but we just made it up as it went. Ah, sweet, naive times. Nowadays I barely RP anything if it's not with the friend I mentioned - Most things in Discord and MeWe go to waste. So I figured out I'd like to try something here!
I consider myself a writer (dunno if a good one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) but most of what I've written is in spanish. So I may have some issues in english, even if I try to use external tools to check for grammar and such. I really like epic action, adventure and battle stories, but that's a preference, not a solid set. I can easily try romance or slice-of-life or really most RP genres (except lewd things, of course). I'm also fond of non-sexual dark RPs, like horror or gore or stuff like that. But it's just a personal liking, not anything I will force.

Welcome to RPR, I am Salazar and it's lovely to meet you! This is a great site, everyone is very friendly and helpful here, so don't be afraid to ask for help or advice at any point, we've got a wonderful community of people who would be more than happy to help. But here's a few tips on getting started:- If you're looking to post a looking for roleplay post: go here. We also have a looking for adult roleplays forum, but you will need to go into your settings to be able to view that if you are 18+.
- Always make sure you address what kind of roleplay themes and writer styles you are looking for when making a LF RPs post. This prevents any misunderstandings.
- Don't be afraid to tell people if you can't respond or don't want to respond to a roleplay any more. Whether it's due to problems IRL or just a lack of motivation, we'd prefer to be told you'd like to stop the RP rather than being ghosted.
That's all from me for now, but I do hope you'll start some amazing RPs and make some awesome friends on this site!

Haha, yes it is nice to have customizable character pages! If you need any help, there's plenty to find in the database.
I also use Discord for roleplay from time to time! It's another great tool, especially for making servers.
I'm also a fan of action, adventure, and some combat in roleplay - let me know if you're ever interested in setting something up along those lines!
Now then, some helpful tips: There are plenty of characters to browse through, and the 'Looking for RP' section is also great to check ads or post your own. That said, feel free to also ask for help on the forums here - we are a nice bunch and won't bite!

Find RP: is a great way to look for ads other players have put up looking for other players to join in and collab in a game that already has some seed of a plot.
LFRP: Is much the same as Find RP, but you can put up your own ad that can be seen by anyone in the applicable filters.
In both cases you can use filters to find exactly what you are looking for for your optimal RP experience. Also, don't forget about GROUPS, where you can find whole worlds to RP in with other people.

If you haven't gotten started yet (or even if you have! haha!), there's a Getting Started guide in the upper menu, as well as a Help section with a dropdown thingy, and a Find RP guide widget thingamajig, and the Forums with all their threads under Community. Also, you can find your own things- Characters, Groups, etc.- which is a lot of fun, in my opinion. I like your profile picture, by the way!
