I am not quite sure how to work this site yet. However, what I am quite sure of is how to roleplay. I am an advanced semi-literate to multi-paragraph roleplayer, retired novella roleplayer. I have a document list depicting all of my characters and would prefer to keep their bios in Google Doc format due to text limitations on this site, so if Regina does not interest you, then I can give you access to that list. Heya, welcome to RPR. You'll find lots of awesome people, places, things, verbs, adjectives, nouns.... you name it! Here are a few things that may help you to get started. 
Find RP: is a great way to look for ads other players have put up looking for other players to join in and collab in a game that already has some seed of a plot.
LFRP: Is much the same as Find RP, but you can put up your own ad that can be seen by anyone in the applicable filters.
In both cases you can use filters to find exactly what you are looking for for your optimal RP experience. Also, don't forget about GROUPS, where you can find whole worlds to RP in with other people.

As some already claimed, the RPR Community is pretty active, so I do not behold any doubt that you will find some amazing roleplayers that will make your roleplaying experience worth the time/dedication. There might also even be some that inspire you to adapt and enhance the way you perceive the potential of a prompt.

There's a Getting Started guide in the top dropdown menu, and there's a Help and Suggestions forum, and a whole Help are/section/thingy up there too. There's the rest of the Community, as you may see, made up of Forums and Threads and Groups. Wheee! Those are all a lot of fun. Forums are divided into In-Character type forums and Out-Of-Character type forums, basically. Sort of. Heh. And there are threads with In-Character and Out-Of-Character types of themes, too. You can chat in those, or roleplay, or brainstorm, or whatever. Haha. There are groups too! Whee! Those are like forums unto themselves. A group on here is where you can put your own threads, or find someone else's. Usually they're set to a specific theme, in one way or another. It's kind of like a club. A get-together. Or a blog, even! A whumpdoodle, if you're either a creative fanfiction writer or maybe Willy Wonka. Hehehe. Uhhh, anyway... Hahaha... The site sometimes has games or events, which are fun. There's an event going on right now! I think it's still going. Also, slightly different subject, but there are Moderators, too! These lovely people look after the site affairs, and make sure things aren't going badly, and come to the aid of people who requested their help. You can hit the Mod Request button if you want to do something like that. Get a mod, not be a mod, I mean. Wahaha.
Anyway! I'm Shinyrainbowlithogra, and you can message me, basically, anytime you want! I'll respond, probably, and do my best to answer your question if you ask one. Or questions, if you ask some! It may depend, you see.
