"Lotta information for just one person." Yeeep, he's still lying on the couch, because there's still not much he can do about it. Thanks Alaya-Vijnana System!

“O~hohoho, my baba always said that a lot of information comes with either age or money.” Shoko shifted her eyes left to right. “Well, I don't got the old age, but I do have money.” She was lying about age just a bit. Technically the body I'm in is just 23 years old, she thought.
*Baba is an affectionate term for father in Urdu.
"If you say so." He shrugged his shoulder. "I guess my life on Mars is just different."

He sat at a table with Fumizuki. "Are your brioche rolls done yet, sweet face?"

Fumizuki nods. "Yup. They're ready whenever they're needed."
Dax is hanging out at the bar, sipping on her morning raktajino. "So, how's the installation of the holosuites coming, Mathius?"
"They're almost done" he said smiling at her and wiping olive oil off of his fingers onto his hand towel.
Mine Laru (played by Jooters)

Mine Laru and Arujine Sarasa were sat, eating steak and drinking wine.
Sarasa let out a sigh. "Rather slow and boring, isn't it? No entertainment, no music."
Laru smirked. "Hey, we're singers. How about we be the entertainment?"
Sarasa laughed and shook his head. "Ha! As if. We haven't practiced anything. We'd be rusty, off key."
Laru took a sip of his wine. "We sang Akanbei just the other day, didn't we?"
Sarasa rolled his eyes. "That's not the kind of song you sing in a bar. It's a rap, not a slow, easy song for eating and drinking."
"Better than nothing, no?" Laru asked.
Sarasa sighed and was silent for a moment, before groaning. "Fine. Anything to fight off this infernal boredom. Should we ask the keeper first?"
Mine Laru nodded and turned to Mathius. "Mister Kothinto, may we sing a song for the bar?"
"Absolutely! In fact, you can do our live music every other Friday. We can work out your pay rate later. Live music at Trixie's. More than just Ren and Azumi's band"
Mine Laru (played by Jooters)

Laru laughed a bit. "It sounds fun, honestly. I would be down
Sarasa shook his head. "Please, my schedule is far too busy for that."
Laru nudged Sarasa. "Alright, Sarasa. Enough acting so important, Mr. Arujine. We got permission, let's go sing."
Sarasa rolled his eyes and scoffed, standing up from his table. "Fine." He barked, before walking with Laru to a corner of the room.
There, the two began setting up. Being robots from the far distant future, they were able to bring out microphones and speakers just fine. The two began preparing their music and voices (mostly just loading up hifisampler and their built in eqing and similar effects).
Colby (played by Icysoul)

Cody walks in, whistling an off-tune and eerie version of the song In the Hall of the Mountain King. He pauses, looking around with his blank expression, glassy eyes scanning the people and creatures inside. "....I've seen weirder...." He muttered, sitting himself down in a corner. Cody sheathed his knife, crossing his arms and closing his eyes. He absentmindly played with one of the chains on his jeans, alert whilst looking relaxed.
Max (played by Maxthecoolcat420)

* Max pulls in like ace venture into the parking lot before getting out and walking in * Max: well let's see what's happening in this crazy place
* he said as he walked in and would take a seat and ordered a drink *

"Musicians?" Ren smiled "Y'do punk, rock or even metal? I can bring the rest of my band if you're up for it"

Just as he said that his girlfriend and his band's bassist, Kiyo Narukami, entered the bar in time to hear what he said.

"Got my bass, dude!" She said, setting up and tuning her bass guitar. She had already plugged it in a nearby amplifier, prompting Ren to do the same on his guitar.

Meanwhile...
Azumi Hemmberg (played by Revereen)

A humanoid female with white fluffy ears and a white tail wearing a red sweater dress entered the bar and sat down on the bar's drum kit's chair.

"The Suburbanites are to play once again, no?" She smirked at Ren

"Yeah, 'Kitsuhime'" He chuckled

"You know, perhaps we should play this? Their 'voice-banks' or whatever mortals call them would perfectly fit this song!", she said and showed her band and Laru and Sarasa the song playing on her phone.
Mine Laru (played by Jooters)

Laru turned to Sarasa.
"Ready?" He asked.
Sarasa looked up to Laru with his piercing red eyes and nodded.
"Ready, you sexy fish."
Laru laughed for a moment, smiling at Sarasa before refocusing. Bracing himself, he started the music.

The music began with the fast beat of a low drum, building a sense of suspense, before a blare of a brass instrument began the song proper. The song began playing, low, minor key, and oddly heavy and serious. Mine Laru braced himself, took a deep breath, and began singing.
Mine Laru's voice was that of his familiar low, breathy tone, as if he was singing on the verge of a whisper. His Float voice library, to be exact. He sang in his chest voice, his low notes husky and almost languid and sultry. To anyone listening who could speak Japanese, they'd hear the lyrics referencing Japanese folklore and legends.
After he sang the first few notes, Sarasa's deep, strong bass voice joined in for ad-libbing, filled with a bold and mature energy to it. Serious, almost a little brash, threatening to overpower Laru's soft and sweet tone, yet never doing so.
Then, the pre-chorus began. They began rapping out a fast string of lyrics, both seemingly perfectly on time, the notes jumping in pitch yet simultaneously in harmony. Every word came out lightening fast, yet were clearly spoken.
Then, it returned to just Laru, his voice now higher and faster than from the start of the song. His voice is seemingly on the verge of his falsetto range as he begins singing lyrics about hating, yet loving someone, Sarasa joining in for more ad-libbing and occasional harmonizing.
And finally, a dramatic sting, a pause, and the chorus begins. Both Sarasa and Laru sang, harmonizing as they sang about akanbei and mocking others. The high notes being a soft, breathy falsetto for Laru, while being stronger and closer to belting for Sarasa (he notes he sang being too low for actual belting).
Then, just as suddenly as it started, the chorus ended, as the two began singing in light English, repeating the phrase "Well, wake up, wake up". After two repetitions, they jump into another rap portion, slightly slower than before, Sarasa lowering his voice to a point that would sound almost impossibly low. It's hard to tell if that's what the range he is meant to sing in, or if he's simply showing off his low, attractive voice.
With the end of the rap, they go back again to the singing of the pre-chorus, before once again going to the chorus.
Then, the key shifted slightly and an instrumental section began. They both took this opportunity to catch their breaths and look at eachother. They silently braced themselves before going into a section where they sang Japanese, then switched to English, then Hebrew, then more Japanese, then more English, before finally returning to Japanese to sing the rest of the final chorus, having switched languages so quickly and rapidly it was hard to even notice they did so. Finally, with the end of the now faster chorus, they took deep breaths, and let the instrumental play before slowly fading out. With that, the song was finished.

(Sorry I didn't respond to you- I was busy writing that monster of a reply lmao)
"Something tells me it's going to get noisy all of a sudden." Not that he cares, he's used to it, even as a cripple and half-blind...Yeah Mika's life is sad.
Fumizuki offers Mika some noise cancelling headphones.
Mine Laru (played by Jooters)

Mine Laru let out a smile as he turned to Sarasa.
"Have fun?" Laru asked.
Sarasa sighed, before turning to Laru with a smile himself.
"Y'know, I think I did, Laru." He said. "Maybe it wouldn't hurt to do again."

Sarasa smiled.
"I am the son of a famous rockstar, actually." He said, somewhat arrogantly. "Arujine Ruuku, better known by the stage name Rook. You probably haven't heard of him, unless you're active within the musical scene of us synths. But besides that, we do most genres."
Laru looked to Ren with a curious look.
"You want to work with us some time, eh?"

Laru scratched his neck a little awkwardly.
"Well, uhm... There's a small problem." He said. "... Sarasa can't sing in English."
Sarasa shot up, slightly defensively.
"It's not my fault!" He said. "I simply don't need to do it, so my voicebank wasn't built with those capabilities in mind. All those constant syllables and consonant sounds..."
Laru smirked, walking over and flicking Sarasa's nose.
"Sounds like you're just too lazy to learn, Sarasa." Laru said.
Sarasa crossed his arms and pouted playfully.
"Quiet." He demanded.
Entering the area, she found herself craving a mug of mead and a spot to sit. She had to make a few notes, had a letter to write to a colleague, and of course had to be merry. That was a requirement!
