Oh my lord, thank you all so much! I feel so welcomed already and in such a wonderfully curated community of people who care for and love the art of roleplay so much! It brings me so much joy to be welcomed back to something that I had felt for so many years was a cut throat scene that I had been exposed to for so long and yet this site has already made me get all giddy and feel at home at last. Thank you all for the wonderful return back and I'm so frivolously excited to be here and become one this forums community. Glad to meet another person who had to endure the days of Google + rps, haha.
I've been out of touch with the rp scene myself for a while due to similar rough experiences. I'm new here myself, but so far everyone here has been very kind and the environment here feels very cozy and much less stress, so I hope it helps bring you some peace finally as you get back into it. ^^

Hello. What kind of genres do you normally stick with? Any preferences?
I'm in the same boat, actually. Fell out of RPing for years, then found this site on a whim. It's been nice rediscovering an old hobby.
I actually find the community here to be quite nice, and the site staff to be helpful and engaged, but if you ever run into a problem, or have a concern, you can use the Help button at the top of the site to report it. I've found the staff to be pretty checked-in compared to other sites when I've had to use the Help functions, so now I go around telling everyone else, haha.
