It's time for an art adventure! Challenge yourself to draw something new and unexpected -- get character art in return that may be in surprising new styles!
In a trade like this, artists post information about a character (or characters!) that they would like drawn. At the end of the sign up period, all entrants are sent a randomly selected name. Each entrant draws one of the characters that their assigned person submitted, and then on a certain day, you all exchange what you drew! Pretty cool right!? Everyone gets to have some fun, and get some cool new character art in the process.

This event is for artists. Artists of all skill levels are welcome! However, if you have never drawn before, only drawn a few times, or don't consider yourself to be an artist in any way, this event may not be for you.

Personality: Kind, Selfless, Determined, Ambitious, Focused, Hard Worker
Brief physical description of the character: Gibbit is a handsome young man now, around the age of 16 or 17, though he looks potentially a little older. The swamp troll has a fairly wide-set jaw to accommodate the tusks that jut from his upper jaw and strong cheekbones. His chin is decorated with a mossy green, well-kept goatee that matches the tied back dreadlocks behind his head. Beneath his bottom lip is a brightly coloured, blue piercing that swirls inside like clouds. He's fairly bulky, too, for a lad his age but one could only imagine as a troll he had a lot more growing to do. His three fingered hands rest on the end of thick, sturdy wrists, whilst powerful legs lead down to strange, two toed feet. Behind him a cow-like tail waves back and forth, long flowing green hairs hanging from the very tip.
Suggested environments: Forest, Magical school or library, or fantasy laboratory with lots of magical artifacts and/or golems in the background.
Anything else we need to know: His markings glow when he’s using magic. If you do have him casting spells (growing plants, conjuring vines or shooting rocks from his palm etc, see the magic page) he will have glowing markings (example is on magic page). That’d be great if you could do it, but not essential. I am ok with blood, too, if drawn in battle. He conjures a large stone and moss stag too, if someone is up for a challenge. Brief physical description of the character: The epitome of mischief. A lean black naga stands before you, his once arrogant face far more calm and serene than it once had been, smiles now seeming to be genuine. Either side of his head are two tall and pointed ears coated with tiny black feathers, whilst his skin around his eyes was just as dark, markings streaking back towards his jaw. His hair is a poof of unkempt black mohawk, the sides of his head shaved down in an almost tribal fashion. His legs were now replaced with a long, hefty black serpentine body covered in thorny looking scales. Curiously, the tip of his tail ends in a pale grey fan of feathers.
Suggested environments: A cave, flying through the sky, crammed inside a medieval room of some sort. Forest also works. Darker settings.
Anything else we need to know: You can draw Cassius as his Quetzalcoatl form or his naga form! I slipped this extra character in last minute so whoever gets me has a choice of doing something other than Gibbit if they so wish.

Her hair can come in a myriad of different styles, so there's no real limitations there. Her most common hairstyles are curled, woven buns, or mid-high ponytail. When she utilises magic, her eyes glow from their dark brown / black to magenta or a bright pink, showing off her aura colour. In general, Manaka also has a tired and / or pensive look about her.

When it comes to work and being professional, however, Victor is easily able to turn on the charm and the needed social skills in order to keep everything going.
Brief physical description of the character: Victor is 6', and is well toned through his own doing, keeping to a certain regimen of exercise and upkeep. An important note is that Victor also does a lot in his power to keep his hair well kept and groomed, often keeping it tied back in a bun to avoid it getting into his face, or tangled in some fashion.

Personality: Curt, enthusiastic, hyper-possessive nerd.
Brief physical description of the character: > A fiery, gaudy oddball to be sure, and she owns it; this woman proudly struts in a long, red overcoat, a brocade waistcoat, black trousers and - when not covering it with a wide-brimmed black hat - wild and disheveled black hair pulled back in a loose ponytail and held with a barrette of short manticore quills. Odder yet is the light, long staff of blackened metal and a blood-red pommel breezily slung over her shoulder, and the orange eyes with slit pupils which shrewdly stare from beneath round, rose-tinted lenses. These glasses otherwise hang with a selection of other lenses on a thin gold chain around her neck.
Suggested environments: Archaic or steampunk type laboratory settings. Any sort of wilds, alternately.
Anything else we need to know: She's been played in a wide variety of settings from medieval (in which her clothing is slightly anachronistic) to modern, though her 'default' is the vest and semi-formalwear depicted on her RPR. The eyes are always orange, though if you're feeling mixing and matching as far as her more dragonish parts are concerned (throwing a tail or some wings on her, etc), she's very malleable in that respect!

Brief physical description of the character: > A fiery, gaudy oddball to be sure, and she owns it; this woman proudly struts in a long, red overcoat, a brocade waistcoat, black trousers and - when not covering it with a wide-brimmed black hat - wild and disheveled black hair pulled back in a loose ponytail and held with a barrette of short manticore quills. Odder yet is the light, long staff of blackened metal and a blood-red pommel breezily slung over her shoulder, and the orange eyes with slit pupils which shrewdly stare from beneath round, rose-tinted lenses. These glasses otherwise hang with a selection of other lenses on a thin gold chain around her neck.
Suggested environments: Archaic or steampunk type laboratory settings. Any sort of wilds, alternately.
Anything else we need to know: She's been played in a wide variety of settings from medieval (in which her clothing is slightly anachronistic) to modern, though her 'default' is the vest and semi-formalwear depicted on her RPR. The eyes are always orange, though if you're feeling mixing and matching as far as her more dragonish parts are concerned (throwing a tail or some wings on her, etc), she's very malleable in that respect!

Brief physical description of the character: Short in stature and petit all around, Manaka stands at 5'1", and generally does her best to keep up as good of an appearance as she personally sees fit. Her hair can come in a myriad of different styles, so there's no real limitations there. Her most common hairstyles are curled, woven buns, or mid-high ponytail. When she utilises magic, her eyes glow from their dark brown / black to magenta or a bright pink, showing off her aura colour. In general, Manaka also has a tired and / or pensive look about her.
Suggested environments: Streets of San Juan, Puerto Rico, or back in the forested mountains of Kunigami, Okinawa.
Anything else we need to know: Manaka has feelings for my friend's Victor Rosario -- she is most open around him and typically enjoys being in his presence.

When it comes to work and being professional, however, Victor is easily able to turn on the charm and the needed social skills in order to keep everything going.
Brief physical description of the character: Victor is 6', and is well toned through his own doing, keeping to a certain regimen of exercise and upkeep. An important note is that Victor also does a lot in his power to keep his hair well kept and groomed, often keeping it tied back in a bun to avoid it getting into his face, or tangled in some fashion.

Brief physical description of the character: Fairly average-y, not-too-skinny, not-too-built. Calder's recently acquired a lot of cracks in his skin that are up to artistic interpretation. He's in a slow progression of being sucked into Hell, so depending on the references, he might be pinkish or turning red. He has to give up bits of himself to stay on this plane of existence, so he tends to have little notches missing from him. Alternatively, he keeps a lot of his body covered up and he tends to dress in longer sleeves, scarves, etc. If you want to draw his arms, they might be pretty marred up. Calder has red eyes, and short hair. Sometimes it's a little shaved on the sides, but he's not great at his own upkeep, so it can get messy.

Brief physical description of the character: Scruffy black hair with a large bang covering her right eye (left to viewers), brown eyes, dark skin, has about two or three diagonal scars on her right eyelid and two horizontal scars crossing over both of her forearms(pressing the arms together at a certain angle shows that the line is continuous). Brief physical description of the character:Iira is rather short for a draconian (average is in the 7ft range), at 5'8" and is slender. His hair is a light blond that is pulled up into a long ponytail. However, there is a wavy tendril on either side of his slender and somewhat feminine face. His eyes have black sclera, radiant golden irises, and cat-like pupils. He wears a yellow shirt with long, flowy sleeves that droop at the elbows. He wears a long pink vest over that with a silver belt comprised of rounded squares. He has a cuff of silver rings at his wrists and dainty hands. He wears brown, fitting pants and yellow pirate-style boots that curl up at the toe. he has small pink feathered earrings handing from his long, down-pointed ears. He also has tow wiggly horns on the top of his head.
Suggested environments: Flower field or or a shop where he sells metal-made objects like jewelry and weapons

When facing her, the right side of her body is human with pale skin and pale grey eyes, just like her mother. The opposite half of her body is like dark exposed red muscle and her eye is pure black, just like her father. She wears a tight leather sleeveless shirt that dips low between her breasts. Within this dip, the two sides are laced together. She wears grey pants and knee high black combat boots. Vakarie wears a long dark grey coat with a red collar.
Suggested environments: Outside at night, bar, or a battlefield.
Anything else we need to know: When in battle, her grey eye glows red.

Personality: Impish, jokes around, not extremely serious unless he gets triggered or dirty. Hides his identity, lies and fakes things plenty and acts tougher than he is. Usually minding himself and his own business & not giving a cent about others. Quick to speak anything his mind thinks of when angry. Open and friendly but careful with getting close to people.
Brief physical description of the character: A bipedal canid, pointed ears, sharp features. Likes to stand on his toes to look taller. 'Hair' on top of head is actually fur, likes to grow quick and has different length depending on the phase it is on - usually trimmed 'short'. Feathers & markings change colors to react to the emotions of people around him. Colors 'revert' when wet & turns pale when sleeping.
Suggested environments: Anything goes~ Maybe not modern though, forests are fine and lakes

Personality: Aggressive, maniacal, dark
Brief physical description of the character: Heedracorian is rather tall, for a draconian (who are most commonly in the 7 ft range), at 11ft4in, muscular, and has a sturdy build. He has a golden piercing on the left side of his lip and on the left side of his nose. His right eyebrow is pierced. He has two piercings on his left pointed ear, and three on his right. He wears several rings and wears golden cuffs on his wrists. His eyebrows are thick. His hair is also very thick and fluffy like a lion, with a length that extends to his mid-back. It's coarse, scattered with braids, and swept-back with a prominent widow'speak. He has some facial hair, but doesn't let it grow more than about an inch. His eyes have black sclera, golden irises, and slit pupils. His skin is a somewhat dark brown. He has thick Slightly wavy horns that extend from the sides of his head straight back. He has thick lips.
His clothes consist of a red vest, and a Scottish-style shirt with sleeves rolled up, and loose brown pants that cuff midway down the calf. He wears no shoes.
