"Bored...?" She blinked for a moment before giggling.

"Yep. I lived in a small quiet town. Everyone knew each other and it was a nice place but I got bored and set off on my own.

"Oh.. Well, anything in particular that you want to do while traveling? Like- do you have any goals or something?"

"Nothing specific. I'm just along for the ride, seeing what there is to see."

"Oh...Wel, that's cool anyways" She smiled

"Other than finding your brother, what doyou hope to accomplish?"

"Well, I think I already said it before... To find something called "hope" though I can't seem to see it in this world for me yet." She smiled and replied.

"You've already found hope. Just the fact that you're searching is showing that you have hope."

"Well yes, I guess you're right about that."

"Because if you had no hope, you wouldn't have began in the first place," he smiled softly and gave her a quick hug.

She smiled back and nodded "You're right... That is true."

(Should we just skip ahead a little bit?)

Several days later they were at a beautiful, clean clearing with a pristine river running through it.
Andrew was sitting on the river bank with his feet paws in the water and looking up at the puffy clouds.

Akane was smiling as she looked at him. She looked up at the sky as well, the bright weather for a second making her forget about everything.

"If he's been moving the whole time we were, your brother is still a month ahead of us. We still haven't even cone across any towns," he finally said and pulled his feet from the water.

She nodded agreeingly but with a smile. "But there's still hope."

"Always," the wolf gave her a reassuring smile and moved to her side.

She nodded and smiled. "And until I find him I won't give up the hope."

He put an arm over her shoulder and kissed her cheek, "Let's keep moving."
