" she spoke as she motioned for her own personal guard to exit. "If you'll assist my men in bringing the items in. Why I'd rather appreciate it."

Morgana was pacing restless in her room, awaiting the long overdue maid to come to tend to her needs and help her dress.
She wanted to greet Morgause but she certainly could not leave her rooms until she was ready.
After her loyal maid had been vanquished from Camelot for practicing sorcery she was wondering what sort of helper she would be appointed this time. Would she be old, or young? What would be her views upon magic or the king? Was she a spy sent to her to be her enemy? So many uncertainties kept her on edge, awaiting expectantly
Merthyr on the other hand, remained still patiently waiting by Morgause quarters yet hoping not to attract attention as he sought the needed healing by means well beyond human ability. With magic ban in place he knew he was taking his risks and chances and Morgause as well

Morgause shifted through her personal items. She had not only packed clothing, but also herbal remedies and potions. Everything from powders, to creams, to plants to be made into tea.
She eventually found a small jar of class, inside of which was an icy green jell of sorts, she laid it along side the other items she had in mind for the inhabitants of the castle. These items varied upon those who would receive them, for Arthur a simple silver banded ring which bore a large red gem at its center. And for the lady Morgana though she shares no blood with her, a golden pendant bearing the crest of the royal family. Each item had a special Enchantment upon them,though she spoke of neither of them for fear of wandering ears.
With everything set, she stepped to the doors of her personal chambers and exited to the hall.

Mordred briefly passed Merthyr on his way, and paused to receive the prince's thanks, replying with a soft smile and a nod. Making sure Merthyr had already gone on his way, Mordred entered the prince's quarters.
Surveying the room, he located the dresser, and placed the pouch in a likely drawer.

She nodded and left quickly, going to Morgana's room. She pulled her sleeves down as she walked to hide the scars.
She bowed her head as she entered the room. "I am truly sorry miss. We are low on staff and I tried getting here as quick as possible." She kept her eyes on the ground and didn't dare look up.

"No problem, best we get ready for the feast" nodded Morgana with a smile of relief at seeing the new maid."Are you new to Camelot?" Asked curiously
She looked up with a small smile. "I've lived here all my life actually. It is beautiful, is it not?" She took a few steps towards the beautiful woman, hoping she wouldn't ask about the scar intersecting the middle of her right eyebrow.
King Conrad smiled broadly at seeing Mordred approach. "Come sit besides me, Sir Mordred" invited Conrad giving the knight a place of honour, waiting for Merthyr and Morgana and Morgause to join

Mordred smiled in return, though significantly less broadly. In a quiet, confidential tone, he replied, "Your majesty, I have some disturbing news."
In a more hushed tone, so that only King Conrad could hear, he continued, "I found the servants partially responsible, but it seems they weren't working alone. They claimed they were under Prince Merthyr's orders, that they were just placing the spell pouches and gathering ingredients for him. They tried to escape, so I executed them, but I believe some investigation into the prince is in order."

She slips the ring she intended to give him upon his finger.
"As long as you wear this ring, you shall never know harm. And give this to Morgana."
She tells him, hurriedly slipping him the necklace.
"She has a gift... make sure she uses it well."
And with that she picks up the cream and hurried to her chambers.

She nodded and started helping her with the dressing and accessories. She smiled while doing so. She loved fashion, though she wouldn't admit it. After awhile she was done. "Do you like it?" It was a dress of her own style that Amber had made.
Taff finally rushed towards Merthyr, after having been absent for some time. He was holding some violets, of poor quality, but violets nonetheless. He was absolutely breathless, but gave Merthyr a triumphant smile all the same. He smelt of grass and various flowers, though it seemed he had made at least some effort to keep clean in his haste.
"There you are," he said, exhausted, "Flowers for the lady Morgana."

"Oh it's absolutely stunning" nodded Morgana elated with the outfit, twirling before the mirror to better admire it, afterwards, heading quickly to the dinning surprised to find Merthyr there, standing and waiting on her
"My fairest lady I sincerely beg thy forgiveness for my appalling lack of judgment in rejecting thee earlier. Thou art indeed a goddess of beauty and I would be the most honoured knight of the realm if I could have the privilege of being thine companion tonight." Offered Merthyr presenting her the flowers and necklace
"I kindly accept thee as my champion, we shall dine and feast together" nodded Morgana smiling broadly and feeling flattered at the attention, accepting the flowers and resting her hand upon his arm to allow him to escort her, much to lord Pentre's satisfaction.

She smiled and followed, she was going to wait on Morgana all night. She kept her head down and waited against the wall for the banquet to start or to be given orders. Her mother used to work here before the incident and her father was loyal to the king all his life, her brother was off with his lady and living happily, she was working for the king like her mother. She smiled at the thought of her being like her mother.
