i found this website and i was just wondering what everyone else's results would be. apparently, i write like Arthur Clarke lol.
I got Stephen King, according to a starter I wrote this past weekend. I'm glowing with pride right now, lol.

I'm hoping I get Neil Gaiman one day, though, he's my favorite author...
Agatha Christie, apparently.

Though, disclaimer, I've taken this test a few times before and have gotten different authors every time, I have such varying styles at random times it's the worst lol
Heck yea! J. K. Rowling according to a post I wrote this morning! Imma call that a win and ride it all day long. Whoo!
Stephen King. I am pleased with this result enormously.
I got Stephen King and I'm surprised since I don't consider myself a great writer like I do him. But I'm happy with the result.
I did this twice (with the same sample) and got Stephanie Meyer and Stephen King. Lol. Which seem like very different people.
LakotaSiouxWarrior

ah yeah lol, i used a few different examples of my writing and got different authors every time (stephen king, arthur clarke, anne rice). either my writing style is wildly inconsistent or the algorithm is just. weird.

That's suspicious. Makes one wonder if they're comparing the writing to anything, or just picking a name with a random number generator or something? Alas, we'll never know. This is a cool thing though, if it's real!
Says I write like H.P. Lovecraft(My favorite Author)
Apparently, one half of a recent RP post is written like Stephen King, while the other half is written like Dan Brown (author of The Da Vinci Code).

Put the whole thing through twice and ended up with Dan Brown. So, I write like Dan Brown with hints of Stephen King.

I'm okay with this. I think. I'm not sure. XD

I'm okay with this.

That also means you write with hints of Lovecraft as well as Lovecraft influenced Stephen King.

Huh, did two different starters for two rps I've made and got two different results: One was Stephen King and the other was Douglas Adams
Apparently I am channeling Agathga Christie..? I put ten posts from different RPs over the course of four years through and got her every time?

Then, to make sure it wasnt just on blind repeat, I typed in some random nonsense and got Stephanie Meyer. I can't make this up.

So now I guess I have to go listen to a bunch of Agatha Christie books, I've never actually read her before.
HOW THE HELL DO I WRITE LIKE STEPHEN KING?...

*Shrugs*
Skrifa

ROWLING?! *fangirls* I can't believe it, that makes me feel so much better about my writing, holy cow!
The first one I got was J.K Rowling. The second one I put in I got Harry Harrison, how is a science fiction writer.
Stephen King, apparently, with a hint of Anne Rice and Vladimir Nabokov. Never read any Stephen King in my life, lol.
