I am very excited for cartography. I genuinely trust RPR to come out with a more useful free dungeon map tool than any of the ones I've found so far, and I have so much use for one. @v@

@Fantax - Maybe. This has been a controversial idea in the past because some people feel that it would strongly trigger their anxiety or rejection sensitive dysphoria, or lead people to feeling like they were having popularity contests.

I honestly can't wait for the maps system myself! It'll definitely help with the creative process a lot when it comes to worldbuilding.

Most of the ones I've found don't do wall and pit/pool positions in line with tiles in a way that's clean for grid design? It's REALLY weird.

I think I mentioned this before, but if you need early testing for map making tools I would be VERY excited to do it. Slow-revealing rooms and traps and secret doors by drawing it out interaction by interaction in tools that don't quite do what I expect was extremely frustrating. @v@

The spooky danger hill tunnels need more efficient mapping options. nodnod

Hiding/showing parts of maps is definitely a very interesting challenge. I don't know if that will necessary be in the first release but it's absolutely in my list of strong desires.

Even if it can just be live-edited and accessible for the players to look at and have an easy and clean tile system, that would be amazing!
