I'm a new member to RP in general, I never did RP in my life but I would love to try it. please, can anyone help me to understand this amazing world and how to be part of it? I'd suggest looking around the Characters Listing to start getting ideas. I like to think of roleplay as kind of writing a story but with you and another author involved, it's a bit of a game and creative group effort in a way. Some people make themselves into their characters, or roleplay familiar ones from movies, tv, books, anime, video games, and so on. There's also always making a character fresh from scratch, or mixing in tidbits from things that have been interesting or inspiring to you!
As for actually setting up the character's page here on RPR, this guide is really helpful. We're excited to have you here, feel free to check out the Help forum too if you need it!

Heya, welcome to RPR. You'll find lots of awesome people, places, things, verbs, adjectives, nouns.... you name it! Here are a few things that may help you to get started.
Find RP: is a great way to look for ads other players have put up looking for other players to join in and collab in a game that already has some seed of a plot.
LFRP: Is much the same as Find RP, but you can put up your own ad that can be seen by anyone in the applicable filters.
In both cases you can use filters to find exactly what you are looking for for your optimal RP experience. Also, don't forget about GROUPS, where you can find whole worlds to RP in with other people.

Welcome to RPR and to RP! There are loads of great guides and advice on the forums and many veterans to reach out to! I highly encourage you to follow the mods as well and read their posts. They often have great tips and ideas for how to RP and ideas on how to make things more relaxing.
