The boy thought of how the sun would reflect off of the glass. Hm, maybe he could make an invention similar to this, inspired by this... Something that makes power, or something, out of the sun...
He looked at the Handyman, "Starts with a V." He said shortly, "I'll tell you after the contest!" He giggled.

Excited (and perhaps a little caught off guard by her sudden involvement) Madelyn follows the Duchess and looks over the models and their hats. She's quite in awe, because before the audience was a display of creativity and ingenuity that only on-the-spot quick thinking could produce. "Oh look how lovely these all are!" she chirps happily.

"GO VICTOR!" bellows the handyman from the sidelines, applauding a little too loudly for such a fancy party.

Jacob was walking with a slightly bad boy vibe, his personality saying I don't care what you think. The glitter was sparkling like little stars across the sky, reflecting off the hat and the sequins meant to be the moon where the werewolf was howling gave off a full moon vibe. The fact that it matched his outfit made it better he smiled and waved to the others. His name Jacob but could they figure out who he really was? Or would he mange to slip through the masquerade without being well unmasked? ((Sorry for the pun and retiroical question i have to leave in like a hour and had to add something random in))

The boy then headed onto the dancefloor after answering the Handyman, sporting the hat.
Victor... That wasn't his name, but he'd roll with it.

Tabetha cheered and clapped as loud as she could for Mini Might. It sure was loud... A bit too loud, maybe. "BRAVO! Bravo, my little friend!"

Jacob stood with the others displaying their hats, Jacob didn't think he'd be walking out of here with a win.

Mimi watched curiously as the other contestants walked the dance floor. As much as she really wanted to win, she couldn't help but admire the sparkly hat that boy was wearing. She loved sparkles! And the pin, and the striped pattern of ribbons... It was really pretty. Not to mention the creative use of the bottles... Yeah, that team had done well, and she wasn't afraid to admit it. "Nice work!" She shouted, grinning at the boy and offering a thumbs-up to the handyman.

The boy noticed Mimi and flashed a smile, his bucktooth showing. He mouthed 'Thank you' to her.

Jacob turned and noticed Mimi, could one even tell where his hidden object was? He was supposed to use popcorn which he had but still, he looked around at the others and knew their designs were better. He wondered if he should tell them and so he did, "Great job everyone!" This was out of his comfort zone, and he knew that his bad-boy vibe haveing faded from him.

"Hmmmmnnn..." mused the Duchess, watching the models strut their stuff on the dance floor.

"Team Egg, it appears you have taken your challenge component quite literally, and made eggs the inspiration and the star for your nest-hat design. As your reward, I too shall be literal with the challenge: Hats of gold for each of you." And with that, golden hats, sized to each of them, appeared on their heads. They are detailed with flocks of flying doves and serpents, as if their creation had hatched into a matured version of itself, and have little golden lace veils.

"Team Popcorn: You have gone in the opposite direction, and decided to transform your mystery ingredient into stars. You gave no hint as to the original material, instead bending the craft to your own personality and interests. A most interesting strategy. I award you the prize of being haunted for the week," she says brightly. A dark mist suddenly manifests beside Jason, and then forms into the shape of a huge dire wolf prowling at his side. "Your solo grit and determination to do things on your own deserve to be acknowledged with company." She winks, her smile mysterious as she breezes on to the next model.

"Team bottle, you found a middle path, and chose to celebrate one of the central qualities of the glass material assigned to you, changing its form but elevating the way that it captures light. For you, your reward is an excellent aspect of yourself, magnified: You shall both have perfect memories this week, and never wonder where you left anything, never enter a room and realize you don't remember why you entered it."

Nearly trips over his own feet cause of how excited he is and catches himself just in time with a sheepish lopsided grin on his face

The boy sighed in-relief, good, he was always losing stuff at his place.

The handyman claps a hand to his forehead. Not forgetting why he entered a room?? This was truly the most incredible prize he'd ever received. Tears roll down his face. "VALENTINO!" he howls, now absolutely bawling. "WE DID IT! WE WON!" Nevermind that one of the teams got literal gold hats, he's pretty sure this means they took first place.

Valentino... Also wasn't his name, but he went with it. He ran down to The Handyman, his arms held out wide, welcoming a hug from the handyman if he chose to do so. "Heck yeah! We did it!"

Mimi cheered, for her own team and for everyone else. This was a great contest, because everyone had won in different ways! Her grin was wide as she admired her prize, a beautiful hat that went well with the rest of her sparkly ensemble.

Jacob sighed, he knew he shouldn't have done that. But how else was he supposed to incorporate the popcorn? And the Duchess he hoped had accidentally got his name wrong. But haunted for a week? All for straying and changing the popcorn he didn't think that was fair, he knew he had screwed up when the wolf appeared. Great. He hated accepting himself. Werewolves didn't even interest him at all! He sighed as he turned to walk off, the wolf at his side he took the hat off sitting it respectfully on the table. He watched as the others celebrated he sat down sadly. This was why he never went out of his comfort zone or did challenge's. He always lost, and now he had to deal with his hatred and fear the entire week! All for doing his own thing!

"Vincent Van Vladimir, I'm so proud lad," bellows the handyman, immediately enfolding the kid into a bear hug. He also mentally makes a note to order flowers, as he's just realized his anniversary is coming up and he almost didn't remember to get a gift. And he'd been asked to pick up milk on the way home. He wouldn't forget now!
