Popping in- and then back out again, prolly -to second this as another Illinois-ian. Not only do we sometimes get snow in April, but it may also be (and was this year!) almost 70 degrees in December.

One time here in Iowa, we had a tornado in December. That is SUPER uncommon and that December was a hot one lol

December isn't even prime tornado season, but the spring and summer is.

I would say something, but i am very Californian.

My country doesn't even show any kinds of snow nowadays. Even if it does snow, It's only once in a year.

Not really 💁‍♀️ the data centers used to power AI are pretty disturbing

The vast majority of AI is bad, but some such as local ones (ie no data centers and very small power consumption) for purposes like ethical vocal synthesis (ala Vocaloid6, SynthesizerV, Voicevox, etc.) are fine.
AI art, AI video, and AI writing are plagues tho, as well as anything trained on stolen materials.

I have my fingers crossed the AI bubble pops!

I see that hatred against AI doesn't diminish. It is true, it is a plague, especially for all artistic. But unfortunately I don't believe that bubble to pop away like that. Only a total shutdown (nuclear war) could stop AI.
Yet will that rush towards AI slow down (to my opinion). Like as Jooters said, good riddance of one, but another took its place, more performant. Will it be as 'successful'? I hope not.

I would just like one thing of everybody: don't see those using AI directly as bad

Just imagine, a perfect world, with rainbows and sunshine and happy people as they are all out on the streets again because someone shut down all AI server! People would be laughing and use pencils for drawing unicorns and Care-bears and...

Please laugh people, I'm only vainly trying to get out of a down *sigh*
