Used to role-play quite some time ago, years ago. Made friends who helped develop my writing, how they tolerated the initial attempts, I'll never know. Paragraphs, seem to be a big thing here.

Got whipped a few times(verbally) till I could cough up over 5 of 'em at a time. Detail is imperative. My goal is for the reader to experience the scene, to see and above all to feel. The appearance of cobblestone is less important than it's texture or the dull shock it hammers through sore feet.

I indulged in anything from basic angst, random romance, being a fantasy monster, singles to citywide battles with the bootleg avengers. Looking to tap into that joy again. I imagine a good bit of you all have similar stories.

Has the roleplaying landscape changed much?

Hello! Welcome back to RP Repository! :)
Hey, and welcome to the RPR! Paragraphs/length vary from person to person — some people like long replies, while some people don’t care either way. As far as I know, there haven’t been any major changes in the role playing landscape either.
Hello welcome back to RPR

Hello and welcome!
Hey, welcome :)

Hello! I really rather like your descriptive ways -- I tend to get a little novella myself and I worry that some people might find it dull or meticulous. So far it's working well though so I guess that's a plus!

As for the specifics, I highly suggest you put together a morsel of a character and flaunt that bad boy in the community like no other. There are a lot of prospects and opportunities out there and if you are hankering for a post, might I suggest the public forums. However, if you are a reclusive sort, advertising your interests and characters are probably your best bet.

Anyhoo, the community is really welcoming and you'll fit in well with the other bestsellers! Take care and have a good one!
Welcome!
not sure if the landscape's changed, i'm rather new. But it's a real good one!
Welcome to RPR

Paragraphs and length vary from person to person. I prefer paragraphs but understand if a person can't always give the detailed response. I can't always come on line daily so I try to make my replies as detailed as possible to compensate for that. That's just me personally.
