For this very special birthday celebration, I've tried to take things that have been on the site for awhile, like character taglines and groups, and tied them all together so that they are more social, more useful, just more fantastic in general. Basically I was looking for things that were good, and did my best to make them great.
By the end of Epic Week, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. But, before we go feature crazy, I want to go people crazy.
Yes, I'm keeping you in suspense about the big super amazing feature to be released this week for another day, because without a strong community behind it, no feature on the RPR means anything. And you have all been so great these past three years.
The site is growing. That's a great thing! But it can be harder to communicate what we're all about when we have thousands of people to tell. Which is why today, I'm adding a pledge to the forums, so that all members, new and old, will get a wonderful introduction to what it is that we're about here: great friends, and great roleplay.
The next time you visit the public forums, you'll be asked to make a promise to the whole community. You'll see what it is when you get there, but the gist is that we're just going to keep being awesome to each other, and to keep putting our hearts into our RP.
So happy third birthday to the greatest community on the web. You've made these years amazing, and I can't wait for more with you.
