I've been roleplaying for a while now on a couple of other platforms, though this is my first foray into forum roleplaying.
As for types of threads, I like action, slice-of-life, friendship building, and character developing. My main genres are probably sci-fi and fantasy, though I'm not opposed to things like superheros. I'm not limited to these genres, but those are the ones that I know I like for sure.
I'm mostly just looking for someone to create a nice story/thread with since my partners elsewhere have dried up.
I do write in my spare time (or at least try to, I'm trying to get back into the habit), so my characters will usually be based on something I am currently or hoping to write up in the future. I also play video games, though that's more sparingly than I would like.
It's nice to meet you all and I look forward to getting to know some of you in the near future!

I just finished up Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (there were a couple of periods in there where I didn't play it for several months at a time). I've played a lot of the other Zelda games too. Next on my docket is finishing up the Professor Layton series and then Ace Attorney. I also just started the first Ni No Kuni so I need to get back to that. I also enjoy Kingdom Hearts.
So I guess the action/adventure/puzzler genre would be the simplest way to put it.

Ahh I see! I have yet to finish BoTW. I do believe I bugged my game in one certain area. I know I could just go to Ganon, but I would like to defeat all four divine beasts beforehand ^^' Good things have been said about Ace Attorney. I honestly would like to watch a playthrough of it-
It does seem like the "action/adventure/puzzler" genre is what you're into. Have you heard of Danganronpa? I know there are people way on either the sides of loving or hating it haha. I've eaten that game up personally.

In addition to what I told Arjastro, I also enjoy point and click games like the Monkey Island series. I'll probably eventually play the new one, but there are other games I want to get to first.
