Hello Everybody, I am Wine-of-the-Soul, but that's a mouthful, so you all can call me Wine.
I am an experienced Roleplayer with around 10 years of Roleplaying under my bet, beginning when I was a young kid playing D&D for the first time. As for my experience as a writer, I have been writing for my entire life, since I first knew how to pick up a pen. I am always seeking more ways to creatively express myself.
Over the past Month or so I have been expanding to online RP Mediums, and this site ended up being one of my ultimate choices. Modern but not convoluted, Quiet but still Populated, and not inhabited by the Cliques that I have been so frequently warned about on other RP sites.
However; my goal here is not to defame other websites, but to talk about myself!
I write a lot of things, and I think most people can find something that they enjoy when it comes to my proclivities. I can write Slice-of-Life, but I also love Fantasy, Sci-fi, Urban Horror, Modern Fantasy, ETC., ETC....
I also was drawn to this site because of my passion for TTRPGS. They were my introduction to RP, and I enjoy them very much. Most Forums I visited did not seem to have a thriving TTRPG atmosphere, but it seems to be much more of a commonality here! That was one of my main draws--I absolutely love playing in RPG games.
Ultimately; I consider myself to be at least a decent roleplayer with a history of experience and a decent background in literature. I hope that I can make plenty of friends and meet plenty of partners here!

Welcome to RPR! You are right in saying that the site is a perfect mixture of busy and easygoing. I thrive on RPR because of the amount of time I work a d have other obligations, but I can rest assured that the site will be there and not so fast-paced that I can't keep up.
If you are looking for specific RPs, I totally suggest drawing up an ad of what you seek. If anything, you could also jump around the forums and get a feel for your characters and interactions with other folks. You may even hit it off with another writer and begin a world-building project together!
The options are pretty limitless and you can make or do just about anything here. It's a wonderful place for all sorts of shenanigans!
