See these babies right here? They've been sitting on my account and I don't really need them, so I'm going to give them away to start off three people's new year with! (Click each item for more info if you're unsure what it is.) There are 3 4 5 prizes total.

I do have some rules:
  1. One entry per person, user accounts only. This means no (anonymous) characters.
  2. You must enter before January 9th, 11:59pm PST.
  3. One entry/prize per person. If you end up rolled more than once, only the first roll will count, the others default to rerolls.

I have two favorite quotes, both od which are from Oscar Wilde, one of my favorite writers of all time.

I don't really have a favourite deep, philosophical quote, but this one from Tolkien stands out to me.

This is a wonderful idea! And actually, I have an extra Dragon's Tooth to throw into the mix for a fourth drawing, if you want it.

I just recently cleared out a bunch of empty profiles, so it isn't like I have any need for it. And I really don't need to be adding more slots just for the hell of it...

It's like in the great stories Mr. Frodo, the ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were, and sometimes you didn't want to know the end because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end it's only a passing thing this shadow, even darkness must pass. A new day will come, and when the sun shines it'll shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you, that meant something even if you were too small to understand why. But I think Mr. Frodo, I do understand, I know now folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going because they were holding on to something.
