I met Dawnia when she PMed me about doing a roleplay. Our first chance to actually write together was Halloween. We did a Summer Soiree event together. The setup was very creative and she was willing to work with my idea on how my character fit into the storyline. He was new to roleplaying and did a great job hosting a Halloween event. The event was easy to participate in and the action kept moving with great response time in replying to posts and there were enough activities to keep the scene interesting. One of Momo's characters joined my Summer Soiree event, set in the modern world. Despite being a supernatural character she did a wonderful job of keeping her powers subtle and blending in while still being true to her own character. I started an RP with Kathryn based on her request thread, and so far my character Daniel Phillips is meshing easily with her in the story! I love their writing style and the detail of the character background, Our RP is progressing steadily at a comfortable pace with their fairly long, detailed, consistent posts painting a lovely visual picture for me! Badenhop is someone I have sort of "tabbed" so to speak as someone I want to play with, though we haven't quite worked it out just yet. It's clear they've put a lot of thought into their characters. Though I've mostly only seen a few of their OOC posts, there's also something about their writing from a technical standpoint that just strikes me as skillful. I don't think I've ever played with hexblading, but I've picked through their characters a bit and they are outstanding! Some profiles almost seem a bit paradoxical in how they can tease such depth of character and intrigue, yet also bring in some humor that did indeed make me laugh at my computer screen (while still also adding to the overall sense of the characters as actual people). Siren has a knack for driving stories forward with delightful mix of characters that she’s not afraid to put in a tough spot to spin a compelling tale. Our scenes have been a wonderful mix of tear-jerkers, action, and laughs. Pirate is a man of many faces, and I don't just mean how wonderfully distinct his various characters are in action. One of the first things most probably notice is how weird his sense of humor can be, but there's much more to him than memes. I've gotten to see him go from baby-DM who provided delightful absurdity and well-reasoned flexibility to co-running an impressive group where he works hard to be mindful of issues - while still being endlessly entertaining and creative. Simple as the character might seem upfront, he's got a lot going on and can be really neat to play with or observe. The player is a delightful person as well - fun, eager to help out and entertain, patient, and overall just wants everyone to have a good time. I've also gotten to see ways they've improved their self-care and generally grown as a person even though we haven't known each other all THAT long. While FrostWolf and I do have our RPing differences, I do enjoy RPing with her. She's patient when I have slow replies, she can manage to get a lot of detail into a small field of words, and she had interesting characters and backstories. The character is pretty cool, and so is the player. Reading their posts is always a delight, and the player seems to excel at any art they decide to try, with a recent stunning example being a work of cartography. They're also wise enough to stick to their boundaries so they can better handle the things they do take on, and they're really nice about it when they need to turn things down or delay things. Anyone who knows Mama is probably well aware that it's difficult to pick a specific quality to focus on! She's an amazing person on so many fronts. One thing that continues to stand out to me is her exceptional ability to compliment people; she's able to say such meaningful little things totally on command, and it seems so natural. Some of the characters she's come up with are such fascinating things, too, and it's clear she considers how different traits will work together along the way.
