I think you're slightly mistaken about the way the roleplay's running.
First, all in-character posts go to the IC chat linked here.
Secondly, the style of the roleplay, as stated in the list of rules in the IC thread, is semi-literate. That means posts are paragraph length (typically 3 sentences) and written like what you'd read in a book. AKA, full sentences, quotations to show dialogue, no asterisks, etc.
I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, please make yourself a little more familiar with the rules and feel free to brush up on the story. Reading the other players' posts there might also help you better understand what style of roleplay we're looking for.
