Hi all! I'm Verisimilitude (Veri for short, because my username is "Very" long). I've been taking some time away from RP, but I'm getting back in the groove! I've been DMing a lot of freeform RP for small groups, and I'm excited to tinker around with some new ideas here! I love steampunk/victorian settings with light magic, they're my weakness. Hey there, welcome to RPR! Hope you have a wonderful time here. Always nice to see a new face in the Repository. I also really like your username! That's a favorite word of mine. ^^' I also admit to being fond of floccinaucinihilipillification, but let's not get too fancy.
There's a Getting Started Guide and a Help section in the upper dropdown menu, which you can probably find pretty easily, it's right .... Right up there.
There's also a Search bar, a Looking For RP section, a Find RP tool-section-area-thing-a-ma-jig(or a thingamabob, if you prefer), and a whole lot of forums to get you started. You can also lurk for a while if you want, but I'd advise you to be careful with that as it's a little addictive. You'll be lurking one day and then have something to say, maybe, and you'll suddenly pop out with a strong opinion, and people will say, "Excuse me, are you new? I haven't seen you around," and you'll go "But I've been here for five years!!!", maybe, or something like that.
Haha. Just kidding. That's never happened to me. Not even recently.
Anyway! Lots of fun to be had. Your characters and avatar and everything seem cool, maybe we'll see you on the Hallowed event soon? There usually seems to be one, right around October something-th, for a couple weeks, every year....
So perhaps you'll get to be part of it, too.
I'm Shiny! Nice to meet you. Let's not be mortal enemies, okay? I like animals and plants and books and stuff, I read a reasonable lot of mythology, I think, and I watch a lot of anime and some movies. I got into K-dramas recently, after a short detour when I was watching C-dramas. Mostly I like sci-fi and fantasy, though, and steampunk is pretty cool but I don't really think I know how to write it. I prefer tea to coffee and I almost ceaselessly play madmen and bakers and sleepy-tomboy semi-manic pixie dream girls in RP. Oops. I really like literature though.
Anyway, I also talk a lot, sometimes too much maybe. But if you ever wanna talk, or just ask questions! Lemme know and I'll be uhhh around probably? But maybe not? I dunno. If you have a specification that's really strange or something like "I really want your opinion but please don't use the word interesting", I have several thesauruses (I have like 2) so I can probably find a different word. What I'm saying is I'm amiable and I understand picky people sometimes.
Anyway, I'm super bored and I've talked too long! Follow the rules, be creative, make friends if you wanna, take care, and have a great time! Byebye! ~ Shinyrainbowlithogra
