Hi! I've lurked around the site a couple times before signing up, and decided to finally give this place a whirl. My name is The_Bugul_Noz (please, just call me Bugul Noz) and I've been RPing since I was...gosh, 11? I think that was it. I've been doing it for a decade, gracious. I'm god awful at introductions, so I'm using the little prompt above this, but:
Favorite Kind of RP
I'm all over the place. I am most drawn to science fiction and fantasy, but I also have a deep love for pirates and Nordic history/mythology. I also have a passion for a few fandoms (Star Wars, LotR, Dune). There's a chance I'll bring one of my preestablished Star Wars OC's on here; I've had her for a few years and would love to explore with her more!
Oh, and I play DnD! I will say, I'm still somewhat new to it and am a little bit of a dunce when it comes to the fighting mechanics, but I have enjoyed what I've done so far!
How Long have I been RPing
Earlier, I said I've been doing this for about a decade. It's been a whirlwind of places to RP in; the one that I have currently going with my Star Wars OC has been on a writing/quiz site of all places, I've been on other forums that sadly died out, and even Discord. I've always loved the opportunity to tell stories with multiple people.
My RP Style
I'm a descriptive RPer, generally in third person, but I'm wildly flexible. I wouldn't say I write huge blocks of text? Starters tend to be longer, and then once we get into the swing of things, I tend to shorten down to two paragraphs at least. I know that sometimes there's not much more to be added, so single lines are fine with me (heck, I even send them sometimes), just as long as they aren't the entirety of the story.

I'm a film major with a minor in creative writing.
I'm trying to learn Irish Gaelic.
The Bugul Noz is my all time favorite fairytale creature (I like to say he and I are the same being).
I'm not a fan of bacon now that since the Delta variant caused nerve damage. It now smells like burnt oil and has zero taste.
Grand Admiral Thrawn is one of my favorite Star Wars characters.
Of all the characters in the world, I am most like Hera Syndulla.
I use pet names a lot (love, dear, etc. If it makes you uncomfortable, please let me know and I will stop!)
And I love sea shanties!
