    Ella and my character are...complicated. Which is exactly why I love our story so much. It isn't pretty or easy. It is sticky and full of barriers they couldn't possibly overcome, but they do.     If you want a different angle on a modern supernatural story this is the character you need. Leave behind your vampires and werewolves they're too familiar and not intimidating enough.
