Welcome to RPR! I used to be so envious of artists that could also write -- so many talents in one! It's a beautiful combination and I wish you well on your graphic novel. As you said, RP can be highly motivating, and depending on what you're looking for, you can fine-tune your search here on RPR as there is a lot of diversity among the lot of us.
I certainly hope you find what you're looking for and be sure to finish your novel! What an accomplishment that would be.
