Hello everyone! I'm just trying to get the feel of this site. I registered last week but only now have some time to get into what all the site has to offer. I'm not too good at these introductions, so you will likely get a word-ramble here. The first thing I will say is I like the character presentations here! There is so much you can do with the characters. I sort of got lost in creating my first character!
Anyway, about me... my name is Victoria and I live in Victoria. I have a bit of imagination and I love writing stories and creating the characters in those stories. I'm mostly interested in original modern day and recent history stories and situations that go as far back to say... 1700 at the furthest. Also, am into all sorts of modern day fandom like Sons of Anarchy/The Mayans, The Old Man (love this show), Mad Men, China Beach... I could go on and on! Recently was involved in an 'Underground Railroad' roleplay based on the TV show, and it was rather gruesome and graphic. So you can say that there is very little limiting of my interest
Not too much into fantasy though I have done some roleplaying a few fantasy/sci-fi fandom worlds. Star Trek, Tolkien's Middle Earth, Star Wars, Outlander, Game of Thrones, etc. I would do much much more than I do as I love getting lost in stories. Unfortunately real life has a tendency to occupy so much time. I will probably be off more than on here, but I will return and check in regularly.

Thank you for this! I have read a few of those links already. I'm still learning my way around! If anyone has any suggestions as to where any open roleplays are of the genre that Marianne could fit in (Modern slice-of-life), feel free to let me know.
