Well hello everybody! MoonshineJak here, finally making this introduction post. Truth be told I am trying to get myself out of burnout, so it's been rough trying to hype myself up for this. I am here now, however!
Okay. so first things first my favorite type of roleplay is one I can create an atmosphere surrounding both my character and my partners character I like to feel things, taste things, hear things, and smell things! i know that may sound like a lot of things, but I swear I am super laid back and easy going. I do not bite whatsoever, and am open to pretty much anything so long as its discussed beforehand.
I like to respond in multiple paragraphs if not novella style, its all about details and the thoughts of the character for me. That being said I do not necessarily require my partner to write as much as I do though it is preffered. I started roleplaying many many years ago, I want to say close to nine or ten. There's a lot of world building involved with me, and I like to make characters truly my own, by that I mean creating species and/or adding my own thoughts and ideas to already existing species/monsters. Our world is truly ours, so my potential RP partner would have massive impact on it as well if we decide to dive that deep into world building. I say if, because again I am fairly laid back.
I roleplay a whole variety of characters from a variety of settings and timelines in both the real world and in fantasy. I do however get a lot inspiration for fantasy than anything else, but I am willing and want to branch out of my comfort zone. Most of my inspiration come from rpg style games such as titles from The Elder Scrolls, or Dragon Age, as well as novels like Lord of the Rings. I do also enjoy the vast worlds of Star Trek and Doctor Who. However I am not truly interested in roleplaying as characters already made from these examples, I do prefer original characters.
I feel like I am rambling at this point, if there is anything that catches your eye about me or any of my characters (I am still in the process of adding them to my profile, along with extensive lore so it may be a little bare bones at this time) please don't hesitate to say hi!

Hello and welcome to RPR! I am certain with your level of diversity and preferences you'll be able to pull a lot of writers out of the woodwork. I am also a fan of fandoms like Star Trek and Doctor Who -- that being said, I tend to play licensed characters mostly, but we all have our thing, right?
Novella is probably a style of writing I have fallen into more and more but like you, I am adaptive so you'll probably be able to find what you seek with a good ol' advertisement as well. If you are feeling brave you could also check out the public forums and see what's going down there.
