Been back into writing for about a year now and I'm trying to get the old spark back. I found this place while I was searching for something that reminded me of the myspace days. I found aniroleplay to be the closest thing but that place is full of people who just add you for the sake of being a number on their friend list, or they just disappear without a trace. Since stumbling upon this place, I think it's pretty cool but I also feel like a fish out of water.

Welcome! I think RPR is definitely capable of filling the hole you're feeling. It's a little different, but fundamentally you can still get your browsing character profiles and hitting people up experience here. The RP ads are definitely a nice alternative to getting heard and finding partners though.
