I've waxed poetic about this author's marvelous, well-mined characters over the years; tonight, I'm here to pick on the unusual suspects. Namely Drys. Some characters you need to prep for sprawling arcs; some characters just really like rocks and traveling and all you need to do is to yeet them through a portal and see what happens. Drys meets any yeeting with unflappable cheer, exploration and optimism, and the 'we'll see' approach in let's-says and scenes alike is always refreshing. Creative ideas Long-term partner - Rigby

I've shouted Orun's granular mind out from the rooftops before, but I'd like to add another detail that only another year in Step City could provide - her sheer and impressive ability to kick backsides, think structurally, and get things moving. If AJ's nostalgia and cultivation was a spark, Orun's motivation is rocket fuel that keeps the setting chugging along. Additionally, she remains a delight to play with and has since cultivated a roster of vibrant characters to enjoy. (So go do it!) Great sense of humor Drives the plot forward - Rigby

I've given much-deserved kudos to her characters over the years, but I can aim at the author herself now - her mind is a very weird and wonderful place to visit. I've been lucky enough to witness and dip in and out of a few sprawling and often-heartrending plots she's had brewing for a couple of years, and have enjoyed meeting a whole cast of nuanced and troubled people along the way. Fig bounded into our setting one day with RELENTLESS enthusiasm and has been a kind and ludicrously creative person and addition to the community the whole way through. I wish I had more time to toss my characters at hers because each of hers has sprung up in explosive fits of contagious inspiration and I KNOW many will play well with mine. One of the most enjoyable roleplays I have ever been a part of has been with Leah! Their sense and style of writing draws one in and immerses us with the casual scenery so well it floods the senses! I can only say that given a chance to roleplay with Leah, it will be a fun and awesome experience!

i have been very familiar with hector for years now, a plummy warlock with not much sweetness to him but a whole hell of a lot of depth. hector has been developed exceedingly well, given many idiosyncrasies and so much detail. i could not recommend this grumpy man or his author more. Have been in a long-term slow burn RP with Nina for what seems like ages, and she is a fun character to write with. The pace of replies is slow but steady, and we make allowances with life situations and keep the story going when we can! Camaraderie doesn't happen by accident. Danny is a fun character to write with! It is early in our roleplay but I love his style and story direction, and the way he ties his story into others he has been a part of! I look forward to his responses, and smile when they come! I recommend getting into a story with him!

Malachite my dear friend and fellow introvert. Fellow nerd and nervous-bean. I am so happy to talk to them, play games with them, and hope to once again be part of a dnd campaign with them someday. Ramika is a dear and wonderful friend of mine. We met in the midst of one of the most stressful times for the world and the RP community.
