    I fell head over heels for Arlene before my character could. She is so strikingly singular, so chillingly tragic, I admired her in concept and swooned once I saw her in action. Every aspect of disability and insecurity is tastefully nuanced, never the sole focus of the character but serving as a permeating, significant feature. Her role as a blue-blooded lady in scar-strewn skin is shockingly believable. Well designed, well written, Arlene will haunt you in all the right ways. Creative ideas Long-term partner - Libertine
